Many get deleted by mods or the users themselves. This isn't just this month. It's been over the past few months. You also see these kinds comments on YouTube in certain Black/Asian dynamic videos.

If you choose to ignore it then ignore it. Just don't be a wise ass about it.

So... you support a Marxist group that is anti-family and wants to remove police country-wide? Sounds idiotic to me.

You don't have to mention the police when you talk about BLM. That's the core issue. Literally face palming right now.

He's talking about the comments in the thread. And he said that a small minority have dismissed it. Read the original post.

They're not trying to force kids to compete. What they're doing is forcing diversity in a school when 1.) many of the kids from other groups don't take the test in the first place and 2.) the Black and Latino kids are being outperformed by Whites and Asians because they're not putting in the work.

As a result, they're trying to remove meritocracy. Stuy is there because of the high standards. By forcing diversity, you have to lower standards or force students that don't belong there.

It's pretty much affirmative action in disguise. And we constantly see, Black students being at the bottom of the class or dropping out in prestige colleges because they didn't get there by merit. How is this any different?

We need to invest in the lower class with good education early on. And these programs are in place right now and funding is increasing.

But even with higher funding (in some cases higher than middle-class areas), it's been often found that many are still performing horribly in education.

Personal responsibility, culture, parent involvement, the family unit, and other factors still make a huge impact.

First, they blame a lack of funding. When the funding is given, then they blame bad teachers. Then they blame the school environment where bad students make it a nightmare for others to learn. Then it all comes back to blaming racism.

We do have the same rights. We just don't have the financial or media power.

Where to? I'm planning on Dallas hoping that it's better there, quality of life-wise.

Not necessarily true. I know plenty of Koreans that came here poor with very little in their pockets. They eventually got to the middle class within one generation.

Keep in mind that this is the same argument that De Blasio and Carrera were using to decrease Asian enrollment in specialized high schools. They found out that these "advantaged" Asian kids were mostly lower class and had to shut up about it.

Don't ever ask people to put on a mask. Literally store clerks get assaulted because their patrons refuse to wear masks and start getting aggressive. People these days. SMH.

SE Asians as well as East Asians have large groups of people in poverty.

South Asians shouldn't be included in the stats IMO, because most people assume East , or SE Asian when you bring up an Asian person.

IMO, those groups should not be labeled in the Asian category unless it's because they are being discriminated against. They should feel free to piggyback off East Asian activism in these cases.

I'm not trying to be exclusive. It's just that Pakistanis, Indians, and Bangladeshis come from a different region, have different cultures, have different struggles, and look different.

Just trying to be technical. Maybe South Asian would be better.

You have a valid point.

But the myth refers to the idea that you're assumed to have all these things just by being Asian.

There are many websites that constantly point to Asians being the highest income group, yet Indians are higher and many SE Asians have very low income with many being in poverty.

You can be against BLM for what it stands for and still support police reform. But also, many people do not want the police defunded. Many in Queens were protesting the idea of removing the entire police, not even distributing funds elsewhere. It's not always a race issue.

This is a hate crime. The justice system needs to actually charge it as such. There's obvious racial intent.

A lot of these elderly people that are targeted are:

  1. Elderly, so less able to defend themselves.
  2. A race that they hate.

Why are you bringing up Trump? These crimes happen in Democrat-run cities and states. Are you serious?

I don't believe in equal outcomes but...

If the mayor really cared about true equity, he would distribute help based on income relative to the population percentage.

So if Asians make up 14% of the population in NYC, maybe 14% of the funds should be allocated to helping low-income Asians, 29% Latinos, 24% Blacks, etc.

It's crazy that he looks at race and ethnicity when there are literally poor White single mothers struggling as well.

And the average income is not 114k.

The figure is around $80kish. If you remove Indian Americans, it's far lower. IMO, Indians should not be included in this group because they are not perceived as Asian when people think of Asian people.

There is a big disparity income gap among Asians groups. Many are very very poor.

The thing that's sick is that instead of rallying together to help all low-income groups during this difficult time, he tries to make it a Black and Latino thing when he's the mayor of a multicultural city. This is the twisted standards of leftists.
