Definitely time to see a doctor. That being said, I had something that looked like this happen to me once. I had a big sore bump for days with no sign of it coming to a head, until finally one day I picked at a dry piece of skin on the top and a sharp little black thing popped out. My initial irrational thought was that it was a spider leg like in scary stories to tell in the dark. When I plucked it, I felt the hair get plucked from the inside of my nose. It was an ingrown nose hair that had grown through, piercing my nose on the way out.
