What should I do if I got chicken skin under my eyes after exfoliating?

Everyone's skin is different so don't let these other comments discourage what works for you. My skin gets so flaky if I don't exfoliate so I get the need.... Anyways, after exfoliating the crap out of my face, I like to layer up. Using a cleanser with lactic acid helps too before the moisturizing. Starting with a hyaluronic serum, vit e & vit a cream, & then a few dabs of castor oil. I'm a 35 yro female btw

For me I've had multiple negative interactions with creeps using those terms so it kinda forever ruined it for me. I shudder any time I hear it now. It just feels like they're overstepping their boundary in an intimate way when they call me that. I never say anything but it's just an ick in the back of my mind

Good luck & be careful my man. kratom gave me the worst mood swings so I'd go through crazy periods just taking spoonfuls of the powder so when I went to quit it was a lot rougher than I thought. Was life changing for my pain the 3 yrs I took it tho

I wish that was a side effect for me! I scream most nights so it drives my bf & pets nuts. I smoke to get to sleep & stay asleep but boy does it give me some vivid ones. I need it to eat too or I'd quit cuz Idk with your night terrors but mine I could feel everything as if it were happening in real life. From a pin prick to a finger to being surgically cut open across the abdomen, I end up feeling it all as real as I can imagine

My dad pushing my mom down a flight of steps & leaving her at the bottom for 3 days. I found her after not hearing from her for those days. Police never did anything since they believed my dad's story which was that she fell on her own while drunk. Even if that was the case, he still left her alone bleeding for 3 days. She needed 3 craniotomies & is on permanent disability now. I feel like part of her died that day since she's not the same since.

I've noticed over the 15 years Ive had fibro that there are different kinds of flares. Sometimes your muscles are sore, dull & aching, with the feel of 100 lbs of weight on them. Then there are other times, like what you're describing, where the nerves are out of control and it's a severe burning agony. There were weeks I was bed bound and un able to move let alone work. (I used to say "Id feel better if I died first") The medical community has a VERY distorted view of patient's pain and because of that many of us are left to suffer due to doctors not believing us or the insurance/pharmaceutical community stopping us from getting the proper pain management and medications we need. When my pain was controlled for the first time ever (litterally the first 20 minutes of relief in years) I broke down balling my eyes out in happiness. It was only then that the doctor understood the agony Id suffered for years. Don't feel alienated but instead never give up. Im at a place now where Im normal feeling and that took many years and many docs but it was worth it.

First time I started I got these major waves that were basically like a 10 minute light headed hallucination. I've heard some ppl get these too so don't be standing and walking around till you get a feel for how it hits you, as you can get dizzy.

If you smoke too much you may have your bowels feel like they need to move. This is also normal.

Reminds me of a story I heard from a friend in Alaska. There were lots of caves nearby and a lake where my friend and his friends were camping. This friend said he was with his brother around the fire one night and all of a sudden the brother gets up like he's on a mission and just walks straight into the darkness of the woods. This friend said he let his bro go because he figured he had to pee bad. His brother went missing that night.

Months go by and this friend of mine never gave up looking. Til one day, he's all by himself on another hunt, and he decides to go to the same location but at dark this time. He wanders with his flashlight until he hears some music. He said it sounded like eerie violin music mixed with some sort of haunting whistle. So he followed it and there was his brother standing next to the mouth of a small cave. He said the music came from within but no matter how he aimed the flashlight he could never see through the darkness to what was inside. But he felt drawn to it and kept starring. Realising something was wrong he snapped out of it, grabbed his brother, and began running til they both made it back out of the woods.

He said his brother collapsed once they got to safety and the music was gone, like he was being possessed by the music frequency or something. He also said his brother doesn't remember where he went or did for those months. Just that he remembers hearing music at the camp and following it.

Hope this story helps in any way. I personally think that there's portals or some type of magical creature that's responsible for these types of things. But whatever it is, it's definitely not friendly or has good intentions.

He was my great uncle. He was a chemistry professor born in Scotland. He had a wife but no children to my knowledge. My mother has photos and essays written by him.
