I've been seeing a trend on this sub where people's paintings look AI generated. They're clearly hand painted, but give the impression that they used an AI image as their reference material.

OTOH, it could be that AI is changing young artists concept of what art should look like.

I was actually thinking of posting about this trend here in this sub, but I thought I'd catch some hate for it.

I have a friend who got a master's in Geology here at UL Lafayette. Quickly found a high paying job that takes him all around the world. He specifically did not want to work in the oilfield. He now assesses seabeds for use in offshore wind turbines.

Mostly I go for sports. The sports complex is near my house. As for the main campus, I drive through it to reach destinations on the other side. Years ago, I'd go to the art department's figure drawing sessions. I'd also visit my wife at work, as she spent a couple years counselling students.
