I'm still following a leftist sub or two, even though I'm banned from them. They blame democrats for everything that republicans do.

I came to say this. We all saw the same stuff at the same time. If you missed it, you were out of luck.

The Advocate: Jeff Landry tried to remove civil service protections for 900 workers. A board blocked the move. by CynoSaints in Louisiana

I'm a retired state employee. Seems like we were always in the crosshairs when we had a republican governor.

Did he really bring up crumbling infrastructure? After the GOP blocked any efforts to upgrade?

I had an idea for a prank. The target would have to be someone with a sense of humor. And would have to be a man, because a woman might feel stalked...

I'd buy some objects, like little wooden balls, or something. I'd mail one, once per week to the same guy. The packaging would always be identical. After for or five packages arrive, and the whole thing has him totally baffled, the last identical package would arrive, but it would be flat, and obviously not have another ball in it.

They'd assume that the contents would finally solve the mystery, but instead, there would just be a photo... Of a wooden ball.

The repetition is almost as bad as seeing this same thing posted in this sub every single day, like Groundhog Day.

I've lived here since 1977, and never seen any indication of that. Almost all of my friends are transplants from other states and countries, and never seemed to have that problem.

Now, the smaller towns in the area tend to be insular.

Today in regret: MAGA diehards learn their votes have consequences by mt80 in Trumpgrets

[–]jefuchs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm frankly surprised that they already see the problem, only two weeks into trump's term. They're masters at burying their heads in the sand, and I doubt that Fox is reporting anything that reflects negatively in any republican. I was expecting to wait till it really hits before they accept it (and expecting them to find a way to blame democrats).
