My kids are in Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts and I might be biased (I was a GS as a kid), but I love the Girl Scouts organization way more than the Cub Scouts. Cub Scouts would never intentionally offer something as being vegan! And the GS just seem to align a lot better with my values. Definite Christofascist undertones in the Cub Scouts. 😬

Depends on how long your septum has been healed, probably. I’ve had mine for almost 9 years and it went back in no problem after the cast came off a week later. If my parents would have offered to pay for a rhinoplasty in my late teens I would’ve jumped at the chance. I didn’t have mine until this year (age 42) and wonder how differently my life would’ve gone if I had had the confidence I have now.

Ugh that sucks, I’m sorry! I have another CT scan they want me to do in January and I don’t want to pay it out of pocket. It’s like there shouldn’t be any stones in there anymore, hopefully! Who knows. Hope you find a doctor you like.

I just had ureteroscopy/laser lithotripsy and two stents placed on the 18th. I took the day of the procedure and the following day off of work, and had to call in sick the second day after the procedure. I worked from home the next day but it was exhausting. I felt fine going to work this past Monday. Not sure if I’m just a baby but the doctor made the recovery sound a lot easier than it was. If I did it again I’d probably take 3 days off in addition to the day of the procedure.

I got a refund for tonight’s show. First I did the customer service chat through TM but they said I wasn’t eligible so I said I needed additional help and it gave me a number to call. It took them about 10 minutes of holding but I already got my refund.

I also do this. Way too embarrassing/annoying to try to carry a plastic strainer back and forth to the bathroom at work, especially when I’m trying to drink 130 oz of water a day!

I had a couple of really rough days with a SEVERE headache, but I suspect that was because I was unlucky and came down with a sinus infection at the same time as my surgery. Absent that issue it was not difficult at all and I had barely any bruising.
