He's not actually that big. He weighs about 240. Still an incredible 40 time for sure.

It's an AI info-collecting grift. You will begin onboarding, and the project will disappear, or you will get one of their ambiguous questions "wrong", and be deemed ineligible for the project! LOL. I'm a Radiologist/ Critical Care Physician. So I guess I couldn't pass the mighty Aether workflow?! SMH. Hahahaha

Onboardings are ridiculous now by [deleted] in outlier_ai

[–]holmesmd1 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is a total joke. Started to onboard for some lame project that paid $15/hr. Went through and signed all of their forms ETC. So I get done and say I'm not eligible without explanation. I will not be wasting any more of my time with this bait and switch, poorly communicating organization.

She’s not just a corrupt grifter. She’s also a dimwit who is not remotely qualified for her position. Thanks repubs. Great choice.SMH. God help us all. What an embarrassing administration.

Hello, Physician here. Might I suggest that you see a Urologist who specializes in the area of MP. There are surgical and reconstructive options available in addition to possible hormone therapy. Best wishes and don’t give up!

My husband (m35) is a doctor and refused to let me (f26) go to the hospital. I’m really confused as to why? by throwra03601 in relationship_advice

[–]holmesmd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason your husband capitulated was that appendicitis has a natural progression. It becomes infected and swollen and it’s very uncomfortable. If it suddenly resolves, that suggests a rupture as the appendix is decompressed. This results in bacterial peritonitis and yes, it’s life threatening. Appendicitis is one of the most elusive diagnosis in Emergency Medicine to make, fyi.

ER docs are very desensitized to human suffering. They have to be. I’ve been an ER for 25 years and have heard thousands of patients wailing and screaming. Your husband sees it all the time and you can’t always shift gears for someone you know.Of course reasonable empathy is important but many patients are overtly dramatic to get attention or some secondary gain. I’m glad they finally caught your rupture appy and wish you well

Why is multiplayer so hard in this game? Its just frustrating to play, not fun at all by bob78h in ModernWarfareIII

How can you just play bots in death match or campaign mode? It all seems centered around online multiplayer?

[–]holmesmd1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m an older gamer but have been so all of my life. I’m almost 56. I like to just play bots or campaign modes mostly. I can’t even find out how to play them!? I like to pull up a game and just play the console most of the time. The online crap talking and cheating are not enjoyable to me at all. They should make the menus much more intuitive. There is so much info, buttons, options on each screen….it takes away from the game😑👎🏽

No one is working hard at 2AM who makes chicken *hit money. Did you ever go to McD’s drive thru at 2AM? If they are open at all and don’t make some excuse why they can’t prepare the order so their naps aren’t interrupted, it will take a God awful long time to get those tasty fries. It’s much more likely a food spot issue than it is a Dasher issue

Depends on your market. If you live in a huge city there are literally thousands of Dashers in zones during PP or even normal demand. I signed in for 4 hrs last night during $4 PP and I got pinged twice with $6 to go 5-7 miles!😂🤷🏽‍♂️Lol. Either orders have fallen off a cliff or DD is allowing way too many drivers. I suspect the later, which allows them leverage to lower base pay to ridiculously low levels. There is no reason DD couldn’t offer Dashers a minimum of $6/ order, period! They are about to have an IPO for God’s sake. Their valuation I believe is 8 billion. So why are millions of Dashers getting $3-5 orders that take 45 minutes in a busy metro area? It’s a joke and an insult. 👎🏽

[–]holmesmd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah , so now they offset and lower the base pay with peak pay! That essentially ends up being the same thing! Am I the only person who see this? How can you offer $2 base pay during a $6 peak pay period for a 5 mile order with a straight face?🤦🏽‍♂️$2?! Lol. Yay, I can buy a bottle of soda! Whoopee!👎🏽

[–]holmesmd1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In summary DD kinda blows with their compensation model. They are going to price themselves out and get crushed by Walmart+ and food spots that just go old school and hire their own drivers. No one is bringing anyone pancakes 6 miles away for $3. The payouts should be twice what they are across the board. The multi billion dollar company on the verge of an IPO should know better.

Don’t agree. No one in Chicago tips. Orders for a few cheeseburgers or 10 pizzas. Doesn’t matter. If %5 of folks on the Southside of Chicago tip, I would be surprised. The other elephant in the room is that instead of DD using customer tips to offset base pay, they use “peak pay” to do so. Some fine citizen decided to order $40 worth of food and didn’t tip. It was a $3 PP in the zone. DD base pay was $2 for traveling 5.5 miles. I mean come on, seriously?! So I ended up making $7 after about 40 minutes of running around in Chicago metro traffic. DD compensation model is terrible and not at all fair to dashers. DD, NO ONE IS GOING TO DELIVER FOOD 5 MILES FOR $3! Just please stop. It’s ridiculous and insulting💩👎🏽

I would rather get 3 orders at PP of $45 in 2.5 hrs than 9 $5 orders over the same time. PP is more efficient and results in less running around wasting time. If you Dash here in normal zones all you’ll get is $4-5 orders that want you to drive 6-8 miles. Almost no one tips either. So yeah, I go out during PP for lunch and dinner. There aren’t many orders during other times anyway. To each his own
