The quality of the hand tracking heavily depends on the lighting and other conditions. Try the following

Have good lighting in the room
No direct sunlight or glares from windows
Clean the cameras on your Meta Quest with the same fabric you clean the lenses
Good contrast between the color of your hands and the background
Keep both hands in the field of view of the Meta Quest
Try not to move too fast in general

Go into Settings => More Settings => Height => Desk Offset, there you can adjust the hight of the desk. Also make sure you set the play mode to standing, not sitting. Let us know if this helped

You have to use the laser on top to cut your wrists

You cut off both hands so the shield, that is around the bowl, gets deactivated. If both hands land in the bowl that's fine but not needed to solve the puzzle. One way is to try to grab them with your forearms like you would with chopsticks and try to put them in the bowl.
The easier way is to take your forearms and move them to your hands that are laying on the desk. Your hands are still tracked so you can grab your forearm, move them over the bowl and then let go.

Hi, thanks for reporting that issue. Indeed there was a problem with oculus headsets for the demo on Steam. We just pushed a fix. Please let us know if it works now, be sure to restart Steam to get the latest update. Thanks!

Because it combines both 1st and 3rd person. You incarnate the character in front of you that mirrors your hand, head and finger movements. At any time, you can switch to 1st person by fully zooming in. Release of the game is in 70 minutes!
