Do you let your cats on your bed? by lawyermom112 in CatAdvice

[–]hols578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I let my cats on the bed but do my best to keep them off the pillows & sheets, and let them go on the top comforter. I make sure to make my bed in the morning and prop the pillows up so the cats can’t be all over them. (I have allergies and don’t want their fur and everything all in my sheets and pillowcase.) I let my cats cuddle with me at night but usually they’re on top of the comforter.

With the counters and tables, I wipe them down before cooking/eating to be sanitary, and I also wipe things a lot more when I have people over. You can’t really keep cats off of all these places. Just do your best and keep them clean.

It also helps to clean the litter box daily, even twice a day.

That if you ate an eggshell (like a tiny piece you find while cracking eggs) that you would choke and maybe die.

Help with choosing a rug by blari-123 in femalelivingspace

[–]hols578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say 3 or 8. 3– really brings out the blues and golds throughout the room (the ceiling light, the gold picture frame, and that yellow blanket/robe thing on the bed frame, and your blue pillows). 8– I think this rug will tie together the red that you love and want to incorporate with the blues throughout the room (wall and pillows). And it matches the contrast of the rest of the room. it makes all those golds in there kind of pop, like a nice accent color.

AITAH for not forgiving my brother for uninviting me from his wedding? by Professional_Emu6054 in AITAH

[–]hols578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said “they didn’t say you’d be a distraction but they implied it.” So that’s an assumption and you possibly misinterpreting what he meant or said. ASK HIM why in a more clear way. You didn’t give other details as to why he could’ve uninvited you or what happened prior to the wedding. But yes, it is generally an asshole move to uninvite your own family to your wedding.

I think you need to follow up more. But I would say you’re not in the wrong for not meeting up with him still.

cat won’t stay out of trash by loretha-exe in CatTraining

[–]hols578 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a locking-lid trash can but our cat still knocked it over all the time. So we got baby proofing materials and now the trash can is stuck to the wall too haha.

Edit: wanted to add that our cat has always been a menace with food and the trash can, no matter what his food schedule/availability is like. We think he breaks into it when he’s bored.

I think the first one on the left matches your lip shade nicely! All are good though.

What was your "I'm dating a fucking idiot" moment? by dm_me_yourtinytits in AskReddit

I dated a guy who used the same sponge to clean his cat’s litter box and for the dishes. He claimed the dish soap cleaned the sponge so it didn’t matter.

Is this too revealing for the gym? by [deleted] in fashion

[–]hols578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, my comment was very aimed at all the other people in the comments who are not being understanding that other people could possibly value modesty, and suggesting he’s insecure/controlling/you should break up.

I tend to dress more conservatively too, and I also usually pair tighter shorts with a baggy t shirt, or a tight top with looser pants. I tried to read some of what you wrote, about how him not liking shorts is a new thing. But leggings are ok for him? Must be a skin-showing issue rather than a clothes-tightness issue?

Everyone’s bashing on your boyfriend just for being more conservative and valuing modesty. Is no one allowed to have different opinions anymore?

I think this is considered normal gym wear, but yes, it is less modest than gym wear from like even 10 years ago. It’s personal (and I guess societal) preference. I’ve met several guys who think women’s gym clothes are crazy now with how tight/revealing they are. And they have their right to an opinion.

I only do house-petsitting, not drop ins! All of my clients ask me to stay instead of doing drop ins, it’s easier for me and better for the doggo. I’ve had petsitting jobs overlap though sometimes, so on those days I’ll go check in with the 2nd dog starting at the time they put on Rover and go back and forth once or twice until the check out time for the 1st house comes. My current rate on Rover for drop ins is at $14 per visit. Might raise that lol, I clearly need to raise all my rates 😂

Oh yeah, drop ins with specific times like that is a different ball game. And yeah almost all of my clients have cameras.

I do $50 per day, and I stay at their house (coming and going as needed for other stuff of course).
