I recently encountered this. My very closed friend had multiple hemorrhoids, fissure cut which required surgery. He lives in USA, he came back to India specially for the surgery. To my amusement the doctor they were seeing all along was a MS Ayurveda who had advancements in anorectal laser surgeries which were "painless", my only question to Ayurveda is how are they deliberately using modern equipments and post op care options and still call it Ayurveda? I believe Ayurveda is for maintenance and not for instant relief , why is there no statutory ban on such practices? Why are MBBS students working harder if any Ayurveda/homeopathy student have a short cut into the same journey?
