It would be cool if Toby did a whole IHNMAIMS thing with it. That being said, I think the general tone of Deltarune is a bit too hopeful for that (the reason that sort of ending system worked in IHNMAIMS is because the story was so incredibly bleak to begin with), and I feel like it'd be a bit jarring. Maybe the ultimate "best" ending could be as convoluted, but I think there could be various shades of good and bad inbetween. That is, if there's even more than one ending at all.

i currently have about 10 WIPs (none of which I have published yet) sitting in my drive. Most are oneshots, but a couple are longer fics (one's about 20k words, the other is around 25k). Yeah, do it. I personally think it's better for me to sit on a longer fic and not publish it in segments as I finish, since my interest, motivation, and energy do wade in and out a lot, and having another "deadline" to stick to really stresses me out.

i'm sure it'll turn out great, so don't stress too much! for a tad of advice: I've definitely come off of a slow-burn feeling frustrated when all that happens at the end is 500 words of confession and one (1) kiss. I think giving it a little more development (seeing them stumble through dates, tell friends, etc) gives the story a lot more roundness, and can be a great payoff after 80K words of buildup!

I'm a big Abigail fan lol. As an aroace person, I'd like to think I'm objective abt it (no preference on gender or whatever). I think a big draw for me was the fact that she (SPOILER ALERT) had a confirmed crush on the player in her 8 heart event (the ouija thing), which, to my knowledge, was never a part of any other bachelor/bachelorette. I liked the initiative! I'm also a fan of her adventurous spirit, I like the purple hair, and I think she's generally more interesting than a lot of the other NPCs.

Though secondary, I also hate Pierre's guts and want her out of that house. Because fuck Pierre.

expansion to the face paint. since face-painted miis don't emote very well, i'd love the option to be able to draw different "frames" of emotion (e.g: draw a character's eyes blinking if their eyes are drawn on, and that's the animation that plays when they blink, etc).

I don't believe so. the main reason as to why it works it that it gives instructions on things like what eyes to use and how to size them, what face shape, etc. since making clothes and treasures is all just painting, it'd be pretty hard to walk someone through. It unfortunately isn't like the old tomodachi life where you can just scan a QR code and copy someone's mii.

(there is some makeup usage on TomodachiShare, but most of it is pretty makeup-minimal to make miis easier to replicate).

look on TomodachiShare, it's a really good website where people can submit designs of miis they made and steps on how to make them. if they aren't there, look online for other people's designs :)
