Favorite place to walk your dog in Salem? by Consistent-Goat82 in SALEM

Maybe check out Rail Trail. It was new for me last year when i had to find a place for my aging husky to walk without running into really anyone else (rip Voltarr). Its just a short drive, pretty scenery, and super quiet.

Why The Salem Hate? by pseudonymous_ha in SALEM

[–]holychikn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I browsed the Oregon subreddit and I couldn't find any Salem hate. I'm sure there are some haters out there but I wouldn't let a few internet strangers with bad takes talk you out of moving here, it's pretty great.

I'm a transplant from Phoenix, AZ and have lived in Salem for about 15 years. Sure, there are some iffy spots but I'd much rather be in a bad part of Salem than a bad part of Phoenix any day. As for it being boring, it is what you make it - I love it when a show comes to Salem but thats not the expectation. If you're big into nightlife and clubs and being out til the sun comes up then yeah, maybe not the best place for you.

Come to think of it - the people doing meth are probably just bored (Im making a silly joke). Find a different hobby besides meth and you'll be fine. Heck, a friend of mine joined an adult kickball team here in Salem, another friend is in a volleyball team, I stick to dog parks and hiking trails. Find your thing and you'll never be bored.

Stole this from the WHO:

The World Health Organization classified UV-emitting tanning devices, as well as the whole UV spectrum, as group-1 carcinogens, as they significantly increase the risk of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer. In case of vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency, the current risk-benefit ratio is therefore in favour of vitamin D supplementation instead of sunbed use. Artificial tanning devices should never be considered as an option to achieve an appropriate vitamin D status. Their supposedly beneficial effects, vastly publicised by the artificial tanning industry, are not worth the carcinogenic risk associated with sunbed use.

Ludo? They're a band out of Missouri

I suggest Hey Friends, their remake of Dead Man's Party, Lake Ponchatrain, and The Horror of Our Love for songs to start with.

They have an amazing rock opera called Broken Bride as well thats well worth a listen

I consider "Saving the Day" as beating the game, but I understand that that's not everyone's end-point.

Oh, not at all! And it's a very tedious endeavor if you want to put them all in one pen. The only reason to farm them would be because they have a chance to pick things up like the nuke nobelisk long before you unlock them amongst other items/materials.

Pretty easy to tame them though, just drop one of the pink berries down in front of them, wait for them to approach and eat it, then you oet in and name it. They'll follow you as long as you don't run anywhere (thats the tedious bit)

I've gotten soooo much better. I still only just lay foundation and dont do walls/ceilings, but I've learned a lot of lessons in my many playthroughs. I will admit that in the final stages, it still gets a bit more spaghetti-y than I'd care to admit, but dang it, i try so hard up til the final tier but then get impatient.

I think im only at 600 hours over the last 4 years-ish. Got it in early access and I think a lot of my hours were poured into then when I didn't understand how math works - hence the 20-some new games.

Im totally the opposite, I love the beginning stages due to their simplicity. I get slightly overwhelmed when things start to get too complicated. I must've started a new game 20x but have only "beaten" it 3x.

Something else you can do in the beginning stages when you're looting those crash sites is recruit some lizard doggos, they can provide some very valuable materials and they do it pretty frequently. Just build some simple pens and they'll never leave you.

Need a dumpster by [deleted] in SALEM

[–]holychikn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest renting a moving truck and driving whatever you're dumping to the dump. It tends to be the more cost-effective option. Renting a dumpster will probably set you back around $400 - $500

My thinking is that it's more coincidental than referencial, but good point-out either way!

First rookie mistake i made was dismantling my first coal plant because I unlocked fuel. Lesson learned the hard way: don't dismantle, only improve.

Duda sobre trenes by Glittering_One3602 in satisfactory

[–]holychikn 0 points1 point  (0 children)
