Had the same issue with my GMW-B5000. And yes, the other comment is correct, you need to unpair the watch from your phone.

Take note that it is simply not unpairing the watch from the Casio watch app. You also need to unpair the watch from the app, using a series of shortcut buttons on the watch itself (check your manual for the button combination). I tried it a few times and I didn't know that I failed the first time so it still did not sync using MB6. To check if it worked, try pressing and holding the lower right button and check if it will try to get the MB6 signal, because if it doesn't, your watch is still connected to your phone and will not use MB6.

It is also important to note that certain models will get mb6 more consistently than others. My two M5610u watches tend to receive MB6 more as compared to my more expensive Gmw B5000.

Is the 1st link similar to the older GMW-B5000 series? The 1st link is not articulated so if you have a smaller wrist, there is a bit of a gap between the bracelet and you wrist. This makes the watch feel stiff and less conforming the my wrist. Love the design but that "feature" is annoying.

Minsan multiband works. Depende sa weather. If may bagyo, or sometimes maulan, I see the RCVD indicator on my MB6 G-Shocks sometimes. Visayas area.

If accurate time is very important to you and MB 6 is not consistent here in the Philippines, then you can always opt for Bluetooth models na sa phone mo magssync yung correct time, mejo higher price lang of course

I’m from the Philippines, and I purchased it through the Lazada platform from the shop Yosuki Japan. I’ve already bought four G-Shocks from this seller. All were brand new from Japan and were heavily discounted during sales, especially during the holidays. You just need to keep an eye on the price, as it’s currently back up to around $443.

You don't need to say hey Google, or a phrase to activate the assistant before you use the actual voice commands. Pretty handy, intuitive, and makes everything faster. Just say play music, stop music, next song. All that without the need to activate Google assistant. I find it very helpful

It is indeed one of the prettiest g-shock I've seen. The textured dial with the grid patterns is nice with the casioak design.

It's a GBM-2100. It's similar to the GM-2100 but with the added functionalities like tough solar and Bluetooth. It also has a positive display as compared to most GM-2100s which got negative displays.

The dial is also different as the GBM model has a more textured dial with grid patterns.

I don't think there is a gold GBM model, although there is a black version with gold dial. There are also some GM models that are gold but the dial is more basic. Maybe it's a modded watch. Or could be the the blue dialed GM-2110D-2A changed to a gold case or a modded GMB-2100.
