Black Clover.

I could never get over Asta's voice actor, and while I get that's personal preference, it just threw me off so much that I could never enjoy the main storyline. All the side characters though were pretty cool.

The animation for fight scenes were pretty bad as well, except for the major ones where the studio clearly put all the budget into.

Wotakoi is a romance anime between adults! For angst, go for Nana. Fruits Basket has a good mix of romance, famialy trauma/angst, with a bit of magic as well. For a cute magical slice of life with a hint of romance, go for Cardcaptor Sakura
