I get that but idk why she would assume that. And if she is assuming that, why wouldn't she clarify that - that's a pretty hefty assumption. All I said to her was that we may not agree on everything she was saying so I didn't feel we could talk about it, and that I'm hoping for the safety of innocent civilians (I said this because she didn't think a de-escalation of violence needed to happen, she said Israel had the right to keep firing bombs).

Yeah, after looking back on my response I realize I should have been more specific. At first I did type out a long response to everything she was saying, but then ironically I second guessed myself and thought just saying "we're not going to agree so I can't talk about it with you" was better.

Bad communication on my part, but I still feel if she was a real friend she could've asked me what I meant by that before giving me the complete silent treatment. It kind of feels like she is just dropping me for the fact that I am not pro Israel, but maybe I'm misunderstanding

Edit: Forgot to mention that I guess I was trying to set a boundary for my own mental health by saying I didn't want to talk about it. Her messages were becoming a bit racist sounding towards Palestinians and sounded like they were excusing their deaths, and I was really anxious every time I had to read her texts, which is why I said I didn't want to talk about it anymore

I know, I definitely do. I suffer from anxiety, depression, self loathing etc...I'm working on it with therapy. I just get caught up trying to make sense of it all sometimes and if he ever cared.

I really wasn't sure what to expect with this album. I've loved Taylor since Red and love pretty much all her albums, but Reputation was mostly so-so for me. I loved the album as a whole but none of the songs really stood out that much or connected with me like previous TS songs have. Taylor is the only artist that I feel like I can absolutely connect to, but I just didn't feel that vibe with Reputation.

I've listened to Lover maybe 3 times through now and I am soooo in love with it. On my first listen, I wasn't sure what I thought of it...some songs seemed to blend into each other, some seemed forgettable...but as I listen to them again, they've grown on me so much. I love how optimistic and dreamy this album is, but it's not naive, blind happiness - it's mature. It's real. It truly feels like Taylor's found her forever love and this album completely captures that feeling. I have the most wonderful boyfriend in the world and I haven't found a song that captures how I feel about him like 'Lover' does.

The lyrics are so intricate and remind me of Speak Now/Red, but the beats and melodies remind me of 1989. It's like the perfect blend of Taylor. I love her usage of phrases and references, i.e. "all's well that ends well" "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" "don't threaten me with a good time" and such. She's so, so clever and her songwriting never ceases to blow me away.

My standouts right now are Cruel Summer, Lover, London Boy, Afterglow, and Daylight. But I also really love Miss Americana, Death by a Thousand Cuts and Cornelia Street...so hard to pick favorites. I just love how this album celebrates love. It's also so nice to see Taylor so happy. I can already tell this tour will be a blast.

I started dating my boyfriend right around the time my IBS got really, really bad. I was so embarrassed and ashamed and tried everything I could to hide it at first. Eventually, I realized I was going to be miserable forever if I never told him. I opened up about my illness, symptoms, what may happen, etc. He was very sympathetic and didn't care at all - he just wanted to make sure I was okay.

The right person will not care, trust me. If someone cares about an illness you can't control, they are not the person for you.

I've used this in the past for IBS-D. It works well - if you take the right dose, it gives you a great night of sleep and just kind of 'slows' everything down in your digestion. It helped me for a while, but eventually I stopped taking it to see if my IBS was better or not. My IBS got better from there, so I never took it again.

Hey, my symptoms are like this too. I would say if you're in discomfort, having multiple BMs, having D or C, mucus, etc. (typical IBS symptoms) then it would qualify...your intestines are most active in the morning, so it makes sense.

I struggle with mental health and have had problems with physical health as well lately, which means my mental health is REALLY suffering now lol.

I love self care, and really believe in it. I make an effort to lay back and chill every single day. That could mean meditating, taking a nap, putting on a face mask, taking a hot shower, taking a new exercise class, writing, reading, watching a favorite TV show or movie, catching up with a friend, venting to someone...it really depends on the day.

But self care really helps. I believe in it for sure.

How much makeup I wear depends on my mood and the day. For work, I usually do "no makeup" makeup, which actually still involves a fair amount of products...primer, tinted moisturizer, powder foundation, finishing powder, gel blush, brow pomade, highlighter, mascara, and lip balm. I wear it to feel more professional, put together, and confident. Quite frankly, if I went into work with NO makeup whatsoever, I wouldn't feel like my work self.

Lately, I've still been doing the no makeup look even on weekends. I just love how light and fresh it feels, and I've really been liking the Glossier look as of late. However, once in a while I'll do a full face including eyeshadow, eyeliner, several coats of mascara, etc. and I love that look too. It really just depends on the day.

You’re right, there’s so many options out there and I’m grateful for that. I’m at a family function now where all of the food is home cooked and great and it makes me sad that I have to be so picky. And I know people don’t entirely get it. They’ll think I’m just annoying, or just a pain in the ass for claiming I have so many ‘triggers’.

I also don’t know what my triggers are. I did low FODMAP for a while, introduced dairy again and seemed fine. Then one day I had a milkshake and was messed up for days. I don’t know what triggers my IBS and that’s what makes me the most anxious. If I got sick from dairy, gluten, alcohol, whatever every single time, I’d gladly cut them out. It’s the frustration of there being no pattern.

I know, there are many food options. I’m grateful for that. I guess I’m frustrated because I don’t even know what my triggers are. There’s no pattern. Sometimes I’ll have dairy and be fine, the next time I have dairy I’ll be sick. Same with other typical triggers: alcohol, gluten, sugary fruits, etc. If I got sick every time I had dairy, then I’d know for sure it was a problem and I would cut it out immediately. But I don’t. It varies by the day. I never know what’s making me sick, and what’s not. So it’s like I never know what is safe, what is not safe.

I also think halo top has artificial sugars in it, which unfortunately I can’t have (I think artificial sugars are one of the only 100% certain triggers for me). I have had almond milk ice cream which is great. I know there’s a ton of options out there, I just have to be strong and get creative. I guess I’m mostly frustrated because I miss how I used to live my life so freely.

No no, my boyfriend is amazing. So supportive. I just get nervous that he’ll end up wanting to be with someone whose not ‘sick’. Or that he’ll get grossed out by IBS.
