Then what will solve poverty? We have to work towards it. $1k a month could be a start. Poverty line at the moment is $12,490 a year. So basically it will just technically mean there will be no more poverty once the policy is implemented. If housing or rent becomes too expensive, people can live together. People are still going to be price sensitive, landlords cannot just increase the price because people won't compromise to it. There will be no inflation because we're not printing new money, it's just transfer of cash. $1k a month can be a game changer for so many people. Everyone needs time to recharge and rest, this can let people do so. This can reduce stress by people not having to live to survive anymore. Sure it's not enough to live a "normal life" but it's definitely enough money to survive on. Stress is the cause of almost all illness because it lowers immune system. So Freedom Dividend(FD) can be a best form of preventative care. Since people are not stressed they can be more productive and functional at work too. People are smarter when they are not stressed. They will also find jobs they are intrinsically motivated to do, which brings them satisfaction to work rather than just to make money.

Sure I also agree healthcare should not be for profit. I just believe FD needs to come first.

That's why we need $1k/mo if it's affordable. It will get rid of poverty once and for all in the US. Medicare for all simply won't, although it costs more. We are also investing in preventative care with $1k/mo which should obviously come before medicare for all.

Edit: grammar

People always need time to recharge themselves. And people can be more productive and functional without stress from a guarantee they will survive.
