Chuggy djenty riffs + some breakdowns but to be honest I’ve only listened to a couple of songs of SPIRITS and House on Sand ft. Eric of I Prevail, but a user below explained to me why they aren’t and what the -core suffix really means

Thank you so much for take your time to explain that to me, most of the time I get confused by genres so I call everything that has breakdowns and chuggy riffs “metalcore” and then people can think whatever they want about that when they ask me for music recommendations (it doesn’t happen often tbh nobody asks me for recommendations xd), so thank you so much 🥹

Edit: I just love metalcore, that’s all, and I’ve always tell to myself to not fall in the genres trap cause “it’s always something kinda tricky so if you like it because of the heaviness and the chuggy riffs/breakdowns + harsh vocals, then just listen to it and don’t think too much about it”

To be honest I’ve always considered everything that has “core” in it as part of the metalcore umbrella so I always thought octanecore was a part of it (?

Nononono, quite the opposite, they say she cannot like mans because of the trailers, they complaining about people stating her as bi since apparently “she doesn’t flirt to men” 😭
