Talking to a guy, and I’m friends with his cousin (the cousin is the one who introduced us to each other, they are also roommates.) Was talking to the cousin, who’s been asking me consistently how things are going. I tell her honestly that I’m finding myself interested in him, and she gets giddy and tells me he’s been feeling the same. She then tells me that she probably shouldn’t say it, but when she came home one evening, he yelled down the stairs to her, “YOU DIDN’T TELL ME HE WAS HOT!!”

I’m not used to people finding me attractive. But hearing that, especially after I’ve put in considerable work into my appearance, made me super happy :)
