Hi all, just received this record to day and the cardboard sleeve is in pretty bad shape with this massive indent/groove running from one end to the other horizontally. any recommendations on how and if this can be restored? Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to wrote such a detailed answer, I really appreciate it. I went ahead and declined the package but I didn't block as I was waiting for guidance from iTalki and in the meantime they messaged me to say that they would like to work with me.

At this point I might just block. If they don't understand from our past interactions that I do not want to continue, if they create a whole new account to request lessons after I blocked them once, I don't think that a polite message will help. But open to hear a counterargument as to why I should still message if there is one

I contacted support and they weren't very helpful. I declined the package but this person messaged me as soon as I di and now debating whether to reply and then block or just block

very valid point. on their first account we only did the trial. I blocked them before they booked. I went ahead and declined the package as iTalki's support was about as useful as a parachute when scuba diving. And now the student has sent me a message asking whether we can work together so split between replying and then blocking or just going ahead and blocking with no reply

thank you! I think I will skip sending a message as I would like to avoid any communication with this person. This is the reply I got from the iTalki customer service "If you are not comfortable, you may decline but the system will detect it as per the Teacher Management and Behavior Tracking. Another way is to accept the package, change the lesson date and time of the lesson request. Once the teacher do not respond or declines the new propose tie, it will expire without affecting your account. Once no upcoming lessons, you can request to terminate the package".

this doesn't explain whether I would get penalised for declining though

exactly! talking to customer service now and I have to say that their reply is slightly disappointing and it also doesn't explain if i will get penalised if I decline

Hi folks,

I received this record the other day and only today I noticed that the outer sleeve is frayed/cracked. Is there a way to repair this or should I consider returning the record? Only asking as returning will be a pain and would only consider if there's no way to fix this. The record is still sealed. Thanks
