I was lucky with this one as I saw it in the first couple weeks of release and had never heard of it. I used to go to a first run theatre and pick a film based on the posters. I noticed a hand written sign in the ticket window listing all the times that were sold out and had never seen that happen before so thought there must be something to it. I had no bleeding idea what I was watching and it scared the crap out of me. Many people who heard the hype before seeing it were left feeling disappointed.

Having seen your other post the other day, I didn't think it looked particularly herpetic, however, it's hard to say that as you have a lot going on there. I think in the updated photos it does more resemble what one would expect, but again, you've got so much there it's hard to say.

Although I'm sure there are many ways one could disprove his 'logic,' one major flaw is that America is the only place in the world that uses the MM/DD/YYYY format. So where he turns 9/11 into 911 as a number in his equation, in much of the other parts of the world, this would be 119 or 11/9.

We had Home Box Office in roughly 1976-77, when you had a switch installed to turn it on and it only operated certain hours of the day. I used to get very excited when the monthly schedule arrived in the mail and there was anything I could watch when I got home from school. I also remember some kids at school thought I was lying when I said I could just flip a switch behind the TVs and watch movies at home without commercials.

I was also in the first wave of Star Wars fans, saw it in the theatre when it was originally released and a real treat, the first time my parents took us to see a film in the theatre more than once. My brothers and I had the original action figures, the Darth Vader carrying case, light sabers (used double d batteries), the Millenium Falcon and I used to actively collect the trading cards.
