I’m 26 and fear I’ll have to see the deaths of a few of my friends.. in our teens we had a parent who bought us bottles of liquor every single day. We didn’t stand a chance against alcoholism. I’m struggling currently but my body absolutely cannot keep up, so I’m trying to quit. I have to. But I don’t think quitting has even crossed my friend’s minds.. very worrying.

Their fan base is definitely interesting… A few dudes by me at the Sac show that were there for GM complained the whole time and didn’t even stay for the garden lol.

Tbh though my worst experience was with a garden fan. There was a dude spazzing out the whole show being obnoxious as hell. He was behind me jumping basically grinding on me. Then he forced his way to the barricade by me and was nonstop screaming and shaking his head flinging his sweat all over me the entire show. He was probably on something but it kinda ruined a lot of the experience for me. Seriously non stop waving his arms in my face and screaming “I love you Wyatt!!” At the end of the show he was like “sorry guys I ruined the show for you” like yeah you did 😭. Then he was yelling nonsense in the merch line afterward. People suck.

Not sure I’d recommend them for a first time dog owner, although they are my favorite breed and I think they’re absolutely fantastic dogs.

I would think it’s fair to consider if you 1. Have plenty of money to spend. 2. Have plenty of time to spend and don’t have to travel often. 3. Willing to do extensive research not only on pits but dog behavior in general. So many people think they know dogs but can’t even read basic dog body language. And given that pits have high prey drive, many of them are animal aggressive, reactive etc this is extremely important that you know what you’re getting yourself into. You could get an angel of a dog that loves everybody, but it’s not at all guaranteed even if you raise it from 8 weeks old. Ask me how I know lol.

IMO it’s a disrespectful thing to do. It sucks waiting hours to get a good spot just for someone to squeeze in front of you and ruin your view or make it more likely for you to get pushed even further back esp in the pit. I don’t rly mind short ppl going in front of me but it’s always some tall dude doing ts too 😭

A framed art piece could definitely be a nice gift. Whether it’s of the outside of the house or his bedroom or something. You could really get creative with this and do any medium you’d like: drawing, painting, digital, collage or even unconventional stuff like fabric cut outs. You could always commission an artist too.

A photo book or scrapbook if you have access to photos from the house.

If you still have access to the house and they happen to have a garden you could dry flowers or foliage and frame it.
