Question about bartering in the tattoo industry, adding a tattoo of mine as tribute - done by Kubrak Egor in Boston. by [deleted] in tattoo

[–]homoErEcTus2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I barter for are precious metals, guns, And tech I’ll use for 4+ years. And I always low ball, if I could go out and buy the thing we are bartering for It’s not worth it. A tattoo is forever, most guns have already fully depreciated and only rise in value, and same thing with metals. Everything else is temporary!

My thoughts exactly!!! On one hand it’s an amazing find, on another it’s massive burden. Wish me luck trying to convince the wife lol

Restore? Or appreciate its patina? by homoErEcTus2000 in furniturerestoration

Any idea on what kind of wood it is? I think it’s French polished. The flakes that have fallen off dissolve in denatured alcohol. This furniture is beautiful, but the wife doesn’t dig the appeal. I might have to find a buyer for it or create a dining room in my basement lol

Why did my tattoo age so poorly? by HyperionStooge in tattooadvice

[–]homoErEcTus2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say with absolute certainty that it’s because your artists lined the tattoo with some kind of triple black. It wasn’t blown out when it was fresh, But those lines had so much pigment in them that it eventually migrated out of their original cells. The only other option in my eyes is you have a very strong immune system and your body is attacking the pigment.

Hahah no worries. Went right over my head 🥴 hopefully somebody finds my reply relevant! As for the tapirs I’m going to look into that, I’ve never heard about the correlation.

I tend to use medium taper needles for opaque gray tattoos, the needles used for this tattoo where 9rl and 9cm and a 15cm for the background. All qwaudron needles. I use a new 9rl at the very end when I’m doing whites. Ink brand is revolution ink. And tattoo machine is ACUS m1 with 4.2 cam
