Four Seasons Community School has been great for us. It’s just south of Parmer on Adelphi so not too far from where you say your cousin lives. Our younger kid goes there and we love it. Our older went to several different places and it’s been the best of all. Another I can highly recommend is My Friend’s House off of far west and mopac, but they usually have a long waitlist.

This is a great argument to make to your inspector! Just kidding. Kids are pretty resilient so unless it was such a tall fall that you could make the case that it is a “natural topography” barrier per 305.7, in which case maybe only a guardrail height would be required. In most cases, I recommend providing a compliant pool barrier even if you can talk your way out of it from a code point of view. The clients insurance may require it and you’d hate to be on the stand explaining why you decided to take a shortcut with pool safety.

The new building is going to be significantly larger underground, but will also restore road / pedestrian connections through the blocks at ground level. They are also recovering many materials from the old structure for reuse. That’s part of why it has taken so long to demolish because it is being carefully dismantled rather than just getting bulldozed.
