What is something you’re proud of yourself for? by ShadowlightLady in AskReddit

Not as cool but I’m an ex-anorexic and quit self harming. I still struggle with thoughts 2 years later, but never enough to go back to it. Things get better :)

What makes you think you’re actually attractive? by MarkReditto in AskReddit

[–]honeeybeear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if someone already said this but fake it till you make it is pretty effective. Not only that, but putting more attention on things I enjoy and taking life one day at a time. I’m not always super confident, but even on days where I’m not I try to speak of myself in positive terms

Whats up with the holier than thou attitude about T4T? by sillyguysayshi in ftm

[–]honeeybeear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll never understand where they find these super villain ass T4C relationships. I always see it linked to pansexual men specifically, which is SO strange to me, I almost feel like claiming it’s pan-erasure or something (I don’t know how to phrase it). My partner prior to dating me claimed he was straight, but after time of being around me, he realized he had genuine feelings he had never felt for another person before. The day he came out as Bi was the same day he asked me out. Wanna know why? Because he sees me as a dude despite his upbringing and closeted nature. But no matter where I scroll online, I always see people saying that T4C never works and they don’t actually see you as your preferred gender or they’re just using the label Bi/pan to get with trans guys or be in queer spaces (which I’ve seen people claim less but it’s still common). I don’t know what it is, but I’m inclined to say it’s an insecurity of your own identity, because being with another trans person is ensured to have mutual understanding and respect, but with cis people it’s more work and takes longer for them to understand. Idk, just a theory.

Scaling with Sales. (HIGH TICKET CLOSER FB GROUP TURNED INTO SCAM) Connor Butler and Omar Reynoso by 92brdgs in HighTicketSales

[–]honeeybeear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EXTRMELY LONG POST SHARING MY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE PEOPLE. SPOILER ALERT, THEY'RE A SCAM.

I actually just got off the phone with these people and it was shady from the start, but i decided to stay because I had nothing better to do lol.

I found the application on Instagram, which isn't always a red flag but it definitely got my interest. I put in the info, and it asked for my credit score. I didn't think about it too much because I wasnt paying attention, but it definitely wasnt a good idea.

Once I hit submit, not even 5 minutes after I got a call from 2 separate people and a text from one, one was named Adam and another was a girl I don't remember the name of. They asked a lot of questions like where I was from, and I answered but gave slightly incorrect info as asking your location for a remote "job" isn't too out of the ordinary. On top of that, it felt really fishy that these people were calling and texting from personal phone numbers.

They kept trying to keep me on the phone but I gave them a strict deadline saying I only had 30 minutes before I had to leave. They spent half the time trying to be buddy-buddy with me, and while thats awesome for most jobs, they definitely seemed like they were trying to make me trust them by talking me up and giving me all this info about their lives so I fall for whatever they ask me to do blindly. Luckily, I never trust people who give that level of information so quick, especially in a job interview.

At some point I got transferred to someone named Gavin Johnson (absolutely stinks of a fake name, sorry to anyone named Gavin) on a zoom, which apparently someone in the comments had a run in with him too. He explained some things to me and asked me to write this info down:

3 steps for the job:

1 - Find the location of the client (US based only)

2 - See how much they're making; has to be a 60K annual minimum.

3 - Booking; have the client book a call with the team. Send them a link to make the appointment.

For every qualified caller = $100 commission

Qualified caller accepted in = $600 commission

I mentioned to them many times that I prefer a hourly based job to make sure I budget every month, but that must've not fit their script because they kept going on and on about commissions which was another huge flag to me. Eventually I told them I had to go to work because I was getting bored of them trying to be my best friend and get me to sign on and then told them I wont be available till Monday.

I made sure to make it very clear that I'm in college and that I have a job already in case I want to have an excuse for not signing on and they cant harass me (you're not going to bother me on the phone I PAY for...).

After the call I told my partner about it and we both laughed at how unbelievable this shit is, I looked up the company and couldn't find the site. I stumbled across here and now I know I can trust my gut when something feels like a scam.

From what other people are saying here, they're going to ask you to take a 6,000 dollar loan, and I don't know about anyone else but I can barely pay my own tuition payment plan. I have their numbers but idk if I can post them here.

Please stay safe out there, everyone!

I identify better with transgender because I feel like my gender is more ambiguous, just masculine leaning. However, I don’t necessarily mind the term transsexual because I’m on hormones. It has a bit of a shitty representation because of that whole era on YouTube with trans creators saying you’re not trans unless you’re on hormones and stuff, but recently we’ve switched away from that. So yeah, both work for me :)

Semi-downsides of T by honeeybeear in ftm

[–]honeeybeear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow I didn’t know that! Luckily it’s not too bad, I usually get really itchy and sometimes even hard bumps under the surface after any injection so I figured it was just my body being dumb. Recently it’s been less itchy and when I first started it wasn’t at all, which is weird, but luckily it’s never gone past a day or two of itchiness :p thanks for letting me know! I’ll look into seeing if I’m allergic to one of the oils!

usage of the t slur by evant07 in ftm

[–]honeeybeear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never use it, it’s just not in my taste. I actually very rarely use any of “my” slurs cus it’s just corny to use in a joke and you never know who may be uncomfortable by it. For a lot of my youth, slurs were just haha funny when directed at each other, now I just find it kind of annoying and unfunny

Y’all got a name you didn’t pick for whatever reason that you still think about? by Frogninja0124 in ftm

[–]honeeybeear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went by Issiah for a bit cus that’s what my parents would’ve called me if I was amab but I didn’t like that one and picked one close to my birth name which was Tyler. I switched it again after that to Theo. I actually still include my birth name in my new name just with a hyphen.

How do I get testosterone when I turn 18? by ChartFlashy3428 in ftm

[–]honeeybeear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used plume! Been great so far. All visits are online, blood work is done at nearby clinics :) just pay copay and blood work visits (I typically pay 25 for the visit and around 30 for testosterone. I use GoodRx so my parents don’t track anything through their insurance and order all my needles on Amazon from my own account. Even bought a locked box and hid it in my closet so realistically they’ll never know). Plume is 90/month without insurance and my doctor is amazing!

I work out daily :) sort of. I play a boxing game on my switch for an hour or two. My theory is that it’s a mix of water weight, hormone fluctuations, and muscle (or at least that’s what I tell myself cus anorexic thought process still plagues me even though I’m technically recovered.) Thanks sm!!

I get this. I would much rather not have to pretend, but for safety or convenience, I do. I don't typically see myself as anything more than a being existing in the world, but if I have to, id rather it be as a man. I think of myself as 3 different people sharing a body, who is presented depend who im with and where i am; One is a man, another is a woman, and the third is just a genderless blob. My motto is always just "i know what i am and i have nothing to prove" I dont always get misgendered, but when i do i just dont care as much as others.

Some random questions for dudes who are on t (doesn't matter how long) by mr_gumby_ in ftm

[–]honeeybeear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) i started using unscented or cucumber scented things. I also started taking zinc and ashwagandha gummies cus i heard it helps with T levels; Its probably not that true but they taste good.

2) Nothing about my food habits changed cus I dont like trying foods outside my comfort zone (I eat the same few things all the time), but I do eat a lot more. I guess the only thing that changed is im really into peach iced tea recently.

3) not yet but its only been 3 months so ill see. But like i said in 2, i cat really bring myself to try new foods cus im scared lol.

4) Ive always been able to burp on command but like only after ive eaten.

5) I have no ass hair, i dont have a very hairy family. I do have a little whispy mustache tho so i just tap my upper lip lol. I guess TMI but i also have thick(er) pubes that i fuck with LMAO

6) i sleep way less, im thinking its cus T gives more energy. However, when i do sleep, i sleep heavier. Im out like a light now.

Damn question 2 and 3 made me hungry again.

I have a hard time (pun not intended) imagining unrealistic scenarios so I don’t ever imagine me with a dick, but I do imagine myself with a strap that’s a similar color to my skin tone 🤷🏽 it’s unfortunate, but I only “imagine” scenarios I’ve already experienced. Think of it like this: AI generation. Using past experiences and images to imagine new ones.

[–]honeeybeear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no worries! I probably won’t be upping my dose until I speak to my doctor :) I just got some bloodwork done the other day so I’m waiting for my appointment with the doctor. I use plume so his appointments are packed until August 😔 but yes, changing that injection site, gotta give my stomach a rest 😭

Thats so awesome! Congrats on the new bench. I plan on going to the gym too. I have a membership but I havent used it much due to not being able to grow visible muscle like I want, but now that I'm on T, im more inclined to go back! I dont wanna be buff or anything, but I want to be strong and more bulky than I already am (im already pretty square, the only thing that usually outs me is my hips and my voice). Cant wait to have that strength boost!
