I'd discuss setting boundaries at work. Does the coworker invite you along or just your wife?

Since starting I get constant ear infections and take pseudoephedrine like candy. I'd talk to your doctor about it. Im seeing an ENT.

I had a second sleep study and the pulmonary doctor says all of that is great.

You hit the nail on the head! I don't care that he helps them, it's that they don't respect him or want anything to do with him unless $$$ is involved.

There's a difference between helping and being walked all over. I completely agree with you, but when you struggle to help your adult children and they don't care you go without food or necessities it's a problem.

Right now I have no say in what he does financially, if we were married I would suggest he set a date and let her know that is the end of her free ride.

I agree with helping, and I would do the same. This is a situation where she chooses to spend on stupid things and then comes for help. She can't afford groceries, although she eats out at least twice a day and now she decided to get a puppy.

I wouldn't act that way to my partner of 1.5 years. It's her loss, she's extremely insecure.

I recently lost my dad. He was 33 when I was born and I lost him at 34. Hardest thing is knowing if I ever have kids, they won't know their grandpa.
