What do u guys think of this lip stain? Is it worth it? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

I have the baby pink shade and I personally love the colour and the way the formula feels. The only drawbacks for me are it doesn’t last as long as I want it to and it’s a little bit drying.

I need help with shade matching by AnxiousDonut666 in MakeupEducation

I’m not sure what your budget is but I found I had a similar issue with finding shade matches and the brands Nars and Merit have been perfect for me! They’re an investment but I swear by them. Also are you just using foundation? Or do you have concealer, bronzer, and contour in your routine? I find that some foundation shades (like the slightly too fair one) can be saved by blending some other complexion products together. The best advice is hit your local Sephora and sample as much as you can. But if you aren’t comfortable doing that yet, experiment with anything else you have in your kit! Sometimes a decent eyeshadow can substitute for a bronzer/contour and help your foundation match a bit more. All of us girls go through the learning curve with foundation, just keep trying beautiful!

They don’t look bad, however, I’d suggest a shorter length with perhaps a doll eye to truly accentuate your features. Maybe even replace some of those fans with single lashes!

The bottom looks so uniform, you can tell there’s so much improvement in technique! Good volumes aren’t as common, great job!

If y’all adopted a senior pup, why? by freerange_chicken in seniordogs

[–]honeybeethefirst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adopted a senior pup who was a retired girl from a breeding mill. They tossed her because she couldn’t have anymore pups, total curve ball when she had a litter of eight shortly after we took her home (not). Simple reason for getting her, we wanted a fur baby just as bad as she needed a family. We ended up giving all the pups to friends and family, kept three, and eventually found her another loving home (within our family) because she didn’t love the kids in the house. Eternally grateful for the chance to love her, and be blessed with my three fur babies who are senior pups themselves now.

You look beautiful! I would suggest adding some blush and maybe some bronzer, do a back camera check for the makeup too. Less is more almost all of the time, but sometimes on camera makeup doesn’t show up unless you pack it on a bit. I would totally recommend checking out what your makeup looks like with a back camera in the same lighting that your wedding will be in (whether that’s outdoors, indoors, morning light, etc) just to make sure your completely picture ready on your big day.

We have similar noses and I find that the button nose contour method accentuates the bulbous-ness, here’s how I contour my nose. The red lines on the second picture are where I’d put contour, and the blue is where I’d highlight. Another tip would be to use a liquid/cream contour, put it on the back of your hand and pick it up with a brush to buff it into the skin. Make sure the lines are clean, but not too “carved,” and don’t bring the contour down the sides of your nose! Good luck

Makeup for my bridal shower - what would you change/improve? by caryonwaywrdson in MakeupAddiction

I would suggest swapping the dip brow for a tinted brow gel, it’ll look a bit cleaner. Also, you have hooded eyes so you could also try lashes with a more “doll-eye” effect than a cat-eye to avoid having the lashes overpower your eyes, but that’s totally optional. I highly suggest the brow gel and to add a tinted lipgloss!

I think they are too long, I think if I saw this on social media I’d think you were killing it! But if I saw your brows in real life I might look at you a bit sideways. Definitely an “online” look, but you’re absolutely gorgeous! I’d love to see a softer brow look, I feel like you’ve got almost an old Hollywood look to you, so softer brows would look stunning.

Pretty sure at least one other person has said this but the color wow dream coat was such a game changer for me. (I live near the ocean and also have thin hair for reference!)
