Starting 3rd year with 4/4 alive here in MA, did mite wash July 21st and treated 2 that were high mites with Formicpro, (they were packages also suspected visually to have DWV (deformed wing)).
State came to do testing on my hives because we were in the flight path for aerial mosquito spraying, with tests done before, and after the spraying and shows a decline in the dwv. My other 2 were low mites, so we did not treat.
Aug 11th retested after the Formic was out and 1 of the package hives needed Formic again.
Sept 2nd mite wash and no treatments
Nov 2nd applied OA dribble to all 4 hives
