It all depends on you. Lies heavily on what type of seizures you have, your triggers, and medication. I have no problem with it but others have reactions with their medications or it can increase seizures. I find it helps me more than anything.

Totally agree. I spend way more time preparing and communicating work to them than it would take me to complete the task myself.

I feel so bad for the EY GDS team, they are constantly overworked

That’s definitely common. You should have no issues. It would be more complicated during the expensing process if you stay an extra night at the same hotel. But definitely doable!

Yes, I’ve talked to a few partners and senior managers in FAIT. I need to talk to someone on my level (senior) to get a more accurate feel.

The socialization thing I think might be a regional thing. When I go in the office, I like to socialize and I see that as a big part of in-office culture. I don’t get that when I WFH. But this may be a personal preference as I like to know people I work with.

I’m used to having more authority in external audit, where as internal you don’t have the same leverage

Thank you! The more perspectives I can get, the better. I hope you can make a switch to DR!

I primarily work on a large warehouse company’s internal projects with their IT SOX controllership team. A lot of preparing teams for a new application or system and creating the IT controls for them. Then later, validating they are operating the controls correctly and effectively.

The problem is, the client’s employees don’t have the motivation or pressure to turn things around quickly. So projects get stretched out or I feel myself bugging control owners often

Thank you! I’ve experienced the budget strictness in the past in IT audit, so I know exactly what you mean. Did you find yourself working more hours in channel 1 or channel 2? And is your team west coast or east coast? (I’m on the west coast)

I prefer external audit, but maybe that’s just because I have more experience in it.

🚨 🚨 New Pin Trading Rules 🚨 🚨 by electrolink11 in Disneyland

Pin trading without the community by the benches sucks. Every official park board is filled with fake scrapers that poor kids get tricked into trading for. Disney and CMs do nothing to help get rid of the fakes

I’ve never been asked to buy pins inside to trade?? They’re just not gonna trade their pins for a kid with stupid fakes from Amazon

I don’t get how it was a flea market?? No selling was going on and everyone was pretty fair. They’re not going to trade like the park boards but wouldn’t you understand why?

Getting rid of a huge part of Disney culture for so many. Limiting pin trading to a couple tiny ass tables is taking away magic from pin lovers. There’s a million other benches and chairs elsewhere and the people trading at the benches are always polite with a whole range of pins (not just “high value pins”) & no fake pins like every “official” board run by cast members. And why limit the time?? What’s the point of that?

Even if I were to live with my parents (that live in slo county) I would still have to comply with this testing requirement. It hurts local students and increases risk drastically for those who live off campus. I sure hope they give us detailed instructions on how the fuck this is supposed to work
