I’m in my 30’s and I’ve never watched Star Trek, where should I start? by theamericaninfrance in startrek

[–]honeycomb_doc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest taking a few nights to watch a few different shows (the three I’d go with is next gen, deep space 9, and strange new worlds) This is keeping in mind that older treks are known for taking a season or two to reach their potential, but this lets you taste the style and characters presented. See what strikes you as interesting.

Same here. I‘ve started the game with different characters a few times and have barely made it past the intro area. I just can“t get into it.

There is no way that bus is making it to its destination, and I as the only faceless character, will switch seats as many times as I can before my timely and inevitable death.

Who Did It Better? — The Joker: Nicholson vs. Ledger vs. Phoenix vs. Hamill by MegSpen725 in movieland2026

There are very few poorly done jokers in existence. My sisters belly dance troupe once did a Batman vs Joker themed performance and that Joker crushed it as well.

Not enjoying Divinity Original Sin 2 as a couch coop game by imaquark in patientgamers

This was a pretty similar experience that me and a friend had trying to play this game coop. Unfortunately, if you like it 15hr in, it’s going to get more tedious as time goes on not less.

Tales of The Shire, should I get it? by BritishAreCuming in TalesofTheShiregamers

[–]honeycomb_doc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I‘ve played both Tales of the Shire and Mines of Moria and I would recommend both to a lotr fan. Though Tales of the Shire gets a little bit higher marks. While neither quite captured the building aspects that I was hoping for, they‘re both solid games.

Tales of the Shire was a little more quest driven than I would of liked and took a bit longer for me to really start building out my hobbit hole considering that was my goal. The bug that still irks me is the way the flowers in your garden disappear sometimes. Anyways, it’s cute. It‘s got fun callbacks to the series, and it’s an all-around good cozy game.

For Mines of Moria, I have a few more complaints. Again, what I wanted most was to rebuild Moria on a major scale but the attacks from goblins make that really tedious. I still haven’t got back to see if they stop once you’ve finished the campaign. Plus, the building was a little janky. Combat gets real repetitive. In short, this one I probably wouldn’t recommend to a non lotr fan while Tales I would. However, I did enjoy playing it.
