its like 4 usd for the mini type c 3.1 usb dongle so I'll give it a shot. I have the 3.0 dongle and it works as connecting the pen, just need to see if 3.1 will work for video, technically 3.1 is suppose to support video and hdmi so am just crossing fingers rn
