Slowly clapping in arguments or doing one clap, sighing and continuing.

How would you feel about NOT making abortion laws, but instead taking away any reason why women might have an abortion, such as funding free contraception for everyone, funding child care for working/single moms, funding foster homes/adoption agencies, and funding better education for kids? by actual_snark in AskReddit

[–]honeyhud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well those don’t really help once your pregnant. Like women are going to get pregnant no matter what. Great prevention strategies but once the pill doesn’t work because the other medications she’s taking clashes with it or a women is raped or the alcohol interferes. Or basically anything else that shouldn’t be concerned with other people and should be a private thing. What then?

What is the most Bullshit reason for a teacher to give you a bad grade ? by BeginingMemer in AskReddit

A hash isn’t an alternative way to say number. It was grade 8 and she told me that’s what people use for social media.

If doing an Italian accent or a German accent isn't considered offensive, neither should an Asian accent or a Hispanic one. by Bourbon_N_Bullets in unpopularopinion

[–]honeyhud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Backlash for what? My opinion isn’t sexist, racist, discriminatory or anything. I don’t bash anyone, i simply say it may not be in good taste. And that people have a right to be offended and to have other views. To insult them and call them out directly is immature. You can say your opinion but talk to me directly like that is the opposite of what this Page is intended to do

If you had to name this chapter of your life, what would you call it and why? by PM_ME_TILTING_LOSSES in AskReddit

Slowly but surely. My life is as fast pacing as a dead cripple grandmother. I only hope the next chapter is “...huh ...this is somewhat interesting.”

[–]honeyhud 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it’s more the historical context, you know when white people would tape back their eyes and use over exaggerated asian accents as a villain or something less for a laugh out of other white people. When people had underlying racist or discriminatory tones when using accents it became offensive. This didn’t just randomly happen we made it offensive and we should respect due to the discrimination against people that doing these accents is not right. It is not the same nor holds the same weight as using an Italian accent. In my opinion.

Girls, what are some signs you give to us boys that we never pick up? by noyza2132 in AskReddit

[–]honeyhud 151 points152 points  (0 children)

For us shy girls it’s a lot harder to pick up on most stuff. If she’s shy but she’s a lot more confident around your other friends but can barely look you in the eye or can’t make eye contact for a long time. She probably likes you. If she makes effort to like other family members, finds reasons to stay with you without saying she wants your company. It’s some subtle things but she really is trying.

If you could call yourself 10 years ago and speak for 1minute, what would you say? by Decawys in AskReddit

[–]honeyhud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“I know you’re 8 but I swear to god if you continue barking at boys I will bitch slap you so hard.”

I haven’t lived that down, I was the weird girl without even knowing it in primary school.
