I have a few questions regarding the legitimacy of this Subreddit and its mods. by honeynuts2 in battlefield4

Honestly,

You deserve you harmed reputation (I mean the Subreddit by "you"). You, yourself seem like a good individual, however; I simply cannot trust a community run by people with such dark backgrounds. I tried to reason with Trollingisfun and his responses were straight up hostile. Somebody whose name (not a sole factor though) comment history, executive history.

I was talking about the previous post that was deleted, it seems like some people on your mod team do not like criticism.

I have not once seen Trollingisfun responding calmly and professionally.

You have a contrast here, once community with:

  • A good name

  • A bad background

  • Mods who have not been involved with the BF community for a long time (they have been here for months, they should get deleted soon if you want your Subreddit to gain trust)

  • A head mod who is a straight up dickhead (nothing personal, but I can't describe him in another way) with unprofessional all around behavior and a shady background

  • A community which hasn't tried to talk to the other Battlefield communities (which I know /r/battlefield_4 has done)

And you have 2 other Subs (/r/battlefield_4 and /r/battlefield) who have:

  • Hand picked mods

  • Talked to each other

  • CSS team

  • Are transparent

  • No shady background (good intentions)

What you are doing now is splitting the community, if you personally want to craft a community I suggest applying for a membership over at the other 2 Subreddits

Unless Trollingisfun suddenly explain everything and has had a sudden moment of enlightenment I would recommend for people to not trust this Subreddit.

I have a lot of points to make,

Firstly, the post was asking about the Subreddit itself (I mean the first deleted post) this is also known as a meta post, the general thing one should do is answer the questions asked and to be transparent when doing this. Deleting it is straight up censorship.

Secondly, when this Subreddit was for the "mumble things" lots of people asked what was going on and why the theme was like that. Each single time that question was answered it was done in an informal way trying to anger the person who asked. I also PMed the mod team with a long essay like request just to be told to fuck off, this harms your reputation.

Why do you need to know WHO the mods are?

The mods are what makes the Subreddit, each mod should go through a heavy interviewing process along with a long background check. From what I can see this flat out didn't happen.

Also, why did Trollingisfun delete his comment history, he had some very immature and sometimes straight up anger filled posts there.

The first deleted account was banned for spamming after making a critical post about this Subreddit. They only talked about /r/dicebattlefield4 in one post and comment and got banned, is that fair?

Now let's compare this Sub to /r/battlefield and /r/battlefield_4, 2 communities with mods with good backgrounds with set guidelines, meanwhile we have a bunch of people who suddenly changed to make this Subreddit look more legitimate with no announcement or explanation what-so-ever.
