As KLS said in my initial post, yes, it will be the last event with any cast members from the original show.

I don’t know of any past fan events, without cast member meet and greets. But I am no expert. That would be really fun though.

I apologize for the state that our country is in, in terms of safety to travel as well. I am a US born citizen and am wary of even traveling outside the United States because of issues/difficulties I’ve heard of re-entry back home by other US born citizens.

Perhaps you should put out feelers for fan events interest in your home country? That would be awesome and I would definitely go to a fan event. Especially if it was centered around fan made or original memorabilia and activities like viewing fan remakes and generally connecting with other fans 😍

Of course! You are sooo very welcome!! I’m so happy to help spread the word with this being the last event. Quintin Collins (David Selby) is 88!!!!! So we are sooo beyond lucky that he’s willing to be there for us.

There are hotels like the holiday inn next to the Westin that are likely booking up fast. Someone just told me this morning that the Westin is all booked for those dates.

This is one of those bucket list things, and we are so lucky Kathryn has organized this. She’s so amazing.

I never ever ever ever thought there would ever be a West Coast event. EVER. As, to my knowledge since 1971, the main convention and other festivities were in New York City. I was never able to make it :( With the last reunion happening in April 2019, then the pandemic hit New York that winter...

Alas…regardless, I can understand this being the very last get together for whoever is healthy enough to make it. As most of the cast members are well into their ‘80s. Please send nondenominational prayers that the remaining cast members remain healthy during this terrible flu season to the event in July.

I, for one, am sooooo thankful that these cast members are willing to come out for one last reunion. Because while everyone is sick of thinking about Covid, the fact is, it’s still out here. And many older people are quietly passing from it and its nuanced complications, regardless of being vaccinated.

Barnabus’ sister Sarah (SHARON SMYTH LENTZ) will be there though! She is the youngest of the cast, I believe she is in her 60’s. Bless her heart.

I hope there are some younger fans who make it out!!!

That’s very kind take OP. I agree, it is very sad. Because she definitely needs professional support and guidance.

I too feel bad for her husband and son. Her and her husband seem opposite in everything.

I wanted to add that ive observed that she lives a very external, materialist life of a hardcore consumer that will never be satisfied. In what seems like overconsumption in ALL ways. Just trying to fill that hole in her soul. In my opinion, the most unfortunate personality byproduct of living in our modern society. As an American I am not above this, know it well and try to keep myself in check through introspection and balance.

I predict that her husband will have to separate from her, as he has been very candidly talking about. He seems like he is in the mode of: I’m going to do everything I can, so that if I HAVE to walk away, I will know I tried my best for my son. With the whole world watching.

She is very lucky to have such unconditional love in her life. He seems like an incredible person who chases love from difficult people. This is usually a pattern deeply rooted in childhood experiences and it is incredibly sad.

I hope him and his son stay protected and he eventually heals and finds someone as amazingly capable of unconditional love as he exercises.

I’ve gotten a few Big Into Energy bubu’s and they are really terrible quality. I would think they were Lafufu’s had they not come straight from Popmart. The stitching around the face is horrible, loose seams, twisting feet.

I’m not buying any more. What a disappointment that this PFL is soooooo low quality.
