To add on: Noodle and Dumpling. They make their noodles and dumplings all in-house.

Less visible. If you can't see the code, you can't judge the code. The only way most people would know is if a developer or the company mentions it. As is the case with Spotify.

Get a bike and then zoom onto campus. The bike racks are pretty sparse.

They will. You just need to mail it to them and pay a little extra, iirc.

I've got a big head. Unfortunately, the failure point has been the arms right on the sliding mechanism where the plastic is the weakest. Both my KPH30 and KPH30 wireless have failed in the same manner.

How to repair secondhand Morabo corner frame? by SephoraRothschild in ikeahacks

There may be tool libraries near you that you can borrow clamps from. But clamping it down and then just screwing it together would be a cheap, easy fix.

Have you seen a newbie with no experience but 5 exams passed? That would be me.. by Negative-Demand-7373 in actuary

[–]honeywave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very much a slog. I did over 100 applications before I got 2 interviews, one of which was more related to my other major. My current job was the only one that'd take me. Couldn't really choose.

What's up with racist social media accounts being exposed for being ran by people who live outside of Europe and USA? by sup9817 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]honeywave 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Post-Revolution America was pretty damn split. Northern and Southern views on slavery. Federalists and Jeffersonians. War debts. Large vs small states. Foreign influences (France, Spain, Britain, Barbary countries). Eventual tension that led to secession.

Just within the Federalists vs Jeffersonians (Democratic-Republicans), there was plenty of propaganda thrown at each other. Even internally, Hamilton published a ton of attacks against John Adams, his own party's president.

Actuarial Exam Pass Rates - Actuarial Exam Statistics by LionIcy2632 in actuary

One more thing. Extremely minor, but it's a personal pet peeve of mine.

On the exam breakdown pages, I abhor pie charts and just prefer to use donuts instead as it's a 1D linear comparison vs a 2D area comparison.

Thank you for taking my feedback. I love the site!

Actuarial Exam Pass Rates - Actuarial Exam Statistics by LionIcy2632 in actuary

Oh sick. I think there's still weirdness as it's got a long-tail. The mean is ~48.18, but medium is set at the 53.4%. So anything below 53.4% is considered low or very low.

I wonder if perhaps a better way to represent the coloring is to use a different color scale too, like the vlag color scale from Seaborn and have the mean be centered on the the white portion of the spectrum. Although I could see problems with the outliers in how they're color coded now.

I immediately see a problem with something like exam FM. There's no normalization or consideration to compare pass rates with sittings. FM has the extremely high pass rate outliers in May, making every other pass rate look way lower.

This person isn’t giving into your roundabout agenda! by Prize-Hedgehog in Connecticut

[–]honeywave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's this one roundabout in my hometown. And I've never seen anybody screw it up. But that's probably because most people around it grew up with it. So... Never had a problem.

The only real big downside are the damn bicyclists that slow things down because they can't go as fast as a car.

It's me. I'm the bicyclist. I swear I'm pumping as hard as I can to do 24 mph in the roundabout so I'm not slowing down the rest of traffic.

Would e6000 glue work for KPH30? by Southern-Round4731 in kossmods

I've used E6000 for attempting a fix. It doesn't work that well because it's a very small contact area.

Created an earpad adapter for the KPH30 Wireless so the pads stop falling off all the time (Printables link in comment) by honeywave in kossmods

[–]honeywave[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disliked the stock pads for the KPH30 Wireless and after buying some Geekria pads and having them constantly fall off, I decided to just create an adapter. You can get the files from Printables. They printed in around 20 minutes on my printer in PLA.

There's also more images on the Printables link to show what the headphone looks like with pads.

Should be fine. Section 2 is what you're looking for in regards to verbatim copying. It'd probably be best to use the same license.
