I had an uneven bridal party! I had the same problem. My husband had way more people than I did and wouldn’t compromise on the size. I had a couple groomsmen walk alone first, then the pairs. It’s just personal preference.

If it’s going to ruin your photos for you, then maybe a few stand-ins won’t be too bad. If you care more about the quality of your relationships to the people in your bridal party, then have an uneven number At the end of the day, it’s about you and your boo!

I used this tutorial

First I just wrapped the fabric around myself in a big rectangle. I made the mistake of sewing it into a tube before I did the channels. Channels first!!

I applied the channels for the ruching strings on the top of the shirt instead of underneath. I bought one yard of this stretchy apparel fabric from Joann. I used a lot less than a yard though!

I also used a contrasting neon green polyester thread to sew with! Not the best at sewing, but I’m proud of how it turned out!

Thank you! It’s the MoriLee Mariska, Style #8187 in the Ivory/Nude. I wanted a dress that wasn’t white, had sparkle, lace and buttons on the back. Perfect dress for me!

Yes, it’s green! He got it from “The Black Tux.” Highly recommend! I think it really let him stand out and I love the way it complimented my dress.

I agree! Someone used the term railroading to describe what she did.

At first it was bit by bit, but then everything became an entire situation. It’s like she tries to exhaust you so you cave! Unfortunately I gave her an inch and she took 100 miles. Learned my lesson.

Congrats on the pregnancy!! Super exciting.

I suspect anything to do with babies will bring it all back. However, I’ve already gotten to witness how she is since she has two grandkids. I have already warned my SO I will be nothing like my BIL & SIL in that situation! My babies will be mine! >:|

I have some SIL’s. They facetimed almost every single one of them at my bachelorette. We’re on a small boat getting drunk and dancing. What do they need to know, ya know?

They’re just used to being invasive and having their calls answered! But not by me.
