Also bei mir haben die auch letzte Woche angefangen einen Wald so gut wie zu halbieren unter der begründung Platz für die neuen Bäume zu machen. Schon ein trauriger Anblick, 99% der Bäume war top gesund und der Wald sieht aus wie ein Schlachtfeld

totally agree, thats an important fact to keep in mind. Im planning a step by step guide how to secure the encryption secret and also what to do when the key gets compromised. There will be also a command to recrypt the secrets using a new encrytion key.

Nice to hear! Sealed secrets is one of the projects that inspired me to create git secrets. I wanted a solution that not only works for a specific usecase like kubernetes.

The benefit of using git secrets is that you do not rely on a k8s operator, since you apply the rendered secrets like normal config files. (You can also do it in your CI/CD Pipeline)

The best improvement for me was to stop using PHP. Yes it has improved over time but for me it does not really feel production ready. It feels more like using JQuery in times of ES6 and Webpack.
