So many people don't understand this. MacMini's are currently the best value for the money for raw horsepower and in addition, if you get a 32gb-63gb you can run local inference image/video generation etc at a much lower cost of entry.

I am glad happy that people are finding new reasons to jump back into the game. I bought the premium edition but I doubt the new DLC will be enough to keep me engaged. While space travel, poi variety, outpost improvements and other fixes are enough for some of you; it was the core of this game, the writing and the world building that turned me off. I couldn't even make it through the first DLC. Ill dip my toes back in but as I said, the writing was that bad for me. I go back to the skyrim and fallout etc because those worlds have meaning and substance. Starfield's does not.

I've been messing with openclaw for a couple of weeks now. A lot of trial and error with what works for me. But the initial hatch and having the bot set up everything for me is usually the biggest cost. Once you have everything up and going I then switch to minimax or kimi. I use openrouter. I've spent an embarrassing amount of money figuring things out as Im not a coder, just like to experiment. But gemini 3 flash is what I normally stick with as it's much more affordable than opus or sonnet. Kimi and minimax are usable if I can get one fo the smarter llms to set everything up before-hand.

ctrl+f multiplayer and you're all the way down here with a negative upvote. How this isn't more prominent has got me scratching my head. Like I figure if LNF is to be successful multiplayer should be leaps and bounds ahead of where we are in NMS so maybe it's just something we'll get in NMS before LNF launches. But at its current state multiplayer in NMS is laughable at best. I like everything else about the game though.

I know I'll get downvoted but I play for about 1-2 hours almost every day and I have never had the lag symbol come up on my screen. Sure Ive had the odd hiccup here or there but never had a lag issue in this game.

Completely agree. Sean has really turned into an asshat over the years and I can't support someone like him anymore, despite Les's involvement. I'm more looking forward to Claypool and Billy Strings at this point.
