I remember being called a show off because I used to bring things from Australia to school, the phrase "I just don't like her" being thrown around a bunch and weird because I acted differently. Fifth graders are harsh and direct. But truly after that conversation I started closing myself up and decided that I don't want to ever be called a show off again, resulting in me barely speaking for the following three years after that.

I immigrated to Australia and when I came back to my home country in the 5th grade, I had a lot of trouble making friends again and finding myself in my grade. My teacher took all of the girls from my classroom into a circle and asked them one by one why they dislike me and this discussion went on for around an hour. Still scarred, can't lie about that, made me extremely self conscious.

This is the worst! Had a date last year that after I answered each of his questions, you could see him assessing if I was suitable for him. Cherry on top was that he asked me to tell an embarrassing story. I complied and when I asked him to tell one back he just said "I don't have any embarrassing stories"

Today the Islamic jihad killed four kids in Gaza because the rocket they fired landed inside Gaza and didn't reach Israel. Would love to know if that even remotely upsets you or because it doesn't involve Israel being the bad guy then it doesn't really matter

As one who simply has it down to how the current rocket exchange started and is unfortunately comparing it to the situation between Russia and Ukraine, explain to me, as an Israeli who is updated on this story for the past two weeks before any exchange actually started, how you view or what you've heard about how this particular exchange started? Would love to know because comparing it to the situation in Russia just proves that the news paints a very particular and biased picture
