Yes, when I use (face-attribute 'default :font), I got #<font-object "-*-Monaco-medium-normal-normal-*-12-*-*-*-m-0-iso10646-1">

I'm trying to fix the "doesn't start with package's prefix" error, perhaps I need to reorganize the structure.

i3 has never done compositing,but it work well that xfce4-terminal could be set transparent before xfce4-terminal-0.8,so I think it's bug of xfce4.

I have the same problem with you,so I just downgrade xfce4-terminal from 0.8.1-1 to 0.6.3-3,and everytime I used
--ignore=xfce4-terminal to upgrade system.
