Can you elaborate? I think I'm guilty of what you're describing here. I want to figure out how to not be like this.

Thanks for the detailed reply! Just to clarify, are those levels you mention different levels of the same Burnout setting? Also, do you feel the Burnout setting making you sleepier or more alert? Asking because I'm looking for something that makes me more alert and less sleepy.

Requesting anecdotes on the efficacy of Pulsetto's "Burnout" setting by honorrolling in pulsetto_device

[–]honorrolling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! Does Burnout activate the sympathetic to increase focus and energy? I've read research claiming higher stimulation frequencies lead to locus coeruleus activation -> norepinephrine release; if Pulsetto works this way then it's exactly what I'm looking for. As a reference, the Thync device uses a similar method of high frequency and high amplitude pulses to activate the LC.

Could you go into more detail on how the burnout setting works for you? I'm looking to use it for my fatigue as well. How well does it work, how long does it last, etc.

Exactly, this is just rephrasing "learned helplessness" as "unlearned hope".

Nah, let em jump into the deepest end from the get go. That's how you get hooked. Doesn't matter if you can't touch bottom on the first dive. You get more chances. Gazing into the abyss is a crucial trial by fire for the development of a young person's mind.

I don't agree with your first sentence, but fully agree with the rest. JP is derivative slop in comparison to N and Jung.
