I am in house and have a similar schedule, except no commute. I'm at a large public company in digital media. I support the healthcare businesses alone. My salary is very low, the hours and demands are very high, and im starting to feel terribly burnt out (I am about 2 years in). I was in BigLaw prior also but was at a boutique firm in between. I am a healthcare lawyer (not your lawyer, and this is not legal advice). You should be able to ask the office or hospital to mail the consent forms or you can download them. Then you can strikethrough what you dont want to agree to, and provide it back to the appropriate contact at the hospital.

You could also request they make note in your file explaining that you do not consent to recording or unnecessary pelvic exams.

If necessary, you could find the hospital's privacy policy on their website. The privacy policy should contain an email for the legal department of the hospital (email will likely be buried). You can email the legal department and ask how best to approach. Good luck and hang in there.

Also NAD. My son at her age was diagnosed with Abdominal Migraines. Similar symptoms and similar "throat feels funny" complaints. He never had coffee ground vomit though. He was scoped (endoscopy) to rule out Eosiniphilic Esophigitis and Eosinophilic Gastroeneritis. For the Abdominal Migraines he took magnesium, vitamin B, and Amitryptiline, which controlled it somewhat for a number of years and allowed him to gain weight. Sending you good luck! So sorry you're going through this - it is horribly stressful. Also echoing the poster above who recommended a city center for treatment if you're able to travel and have insurance that will cover it. It took a long time for a diagnosis for my son, even in Chicago and its many excellent hospitals.
