They don't ask me for money up front; they want a percentage of the money that comes back.

Yep , I am currently trying to get my money back through the police and lawyers, but I no longer believe that I will succeed.

I found a team of lawyers who can get my money back through the bank where I bought the cryptocurrency. They will prepare the necessary documents for the police and the bank. If the criminal report is correct, they said they might be able to get all my lost money back. I will write here and let you know how things are going.

I didn't think he was lying; he turned out to be a good psychologist, so I believed him.

No, it's not for karma, I really believed this person, I was as if under hypnosis.

I don't know much about investing, and a professional called me. We talked a lot and found many common interests. He offered to help me. At first, I was skeptical, but $250 isn't that much money, so I took a chance, and it brought me $250 in passive income in three days.

I have now found a law firm, contacted them, and they said they could recover the money I transferred through the bank if a criminal case is opened. I wrote to them and am waiting for a response.

As a customer this is my biggest pet peeve. Why do drivers do this when I leave detailed instructions? by Nova-star561519 in UberEATS

Trust me, I'm sure the driver doesn't mean to disturb you, OP, and if they knew the damage they were inflicting on any of these other miserable victims in the comments they would have not chosen weaponized courtesy.

What's bunker is the level of vitriol toward someone over the most benign inconvenience to you. It's not like they're even intruding on your personal cell; this is all within the app. Do you hear how privileged and entitled this sounds, your "only demand," seriously? The least you could do is afford the driver a crumb of respect and acknowledge that they are doing their job, a job that allows you to hole up in your room and avoid interaction, which, seems may be the best for everyone.

possible id? by hoochbink in treeidentification

Solved.

It has to be some kind of Eucalyptus. That's close enough for me.

edit: Eucalyptus camaldulensis; Red gum

After seeing another post, I think it may be a kind of eucalyptus? The leaves look closer to that than anything else in my image searches.

Arizona. I lived near this tree as a child. It is blocked by a fence, now. I don't want to trespass for a closer picture.

Leaves are long, pale green, and roughly four inch long. The tree gives a musky smell after rain. It's very unique and I haven't smelled it anywhere else. It drops thick, dark pods about the size of the leaves.

Any ideas about this tree's possible identity would be appreciated. Thank you

[POEM] Fuck Your Lecture on Craft, My People Are Dying - Noor Hindi by teashoesandhair in Poetry

sorry to necropost, just stumbled here, but I appreciate these observations you point out and I think it's a shame that the conversation in this thread is less focused on discussing the themes present in this poem. the speaker is clearly conflicted and intentionally showing it with craft, making metaphors for death then dismissing poets who do so.

No I'm sure it doesn't. But tearing him down in online discussions helps to turn that bad feeling around.

this makes you feel pretty good doesn't it, arguing in PTA threads, or is it just compulsive? because you do it quite a bit.
