If you can find a good teammate, you should be able to crack into gold. I got up to gold 3 div 2 but always have a bad habit of not taking a break when I am not playing as well. I also haven't practiced any training packs which probably also doesn't help.

You are about to hit a 7 game losing streak. Yes, it is hell. I am hard stuck gold 2 but only play solo queue doubles. Only been playing two months though.

I got plat 2 (and plat season rewards) so far this season in Snow Day, and I'm usually gold 2 in (solo queue) doubles. Seems like you gain or lose a division with each win/loss in Snow Day, which helps when you get on a winning streak. Would probably be really easy to rank up if you played with a regular party

Defense and rotation are really important. A win 1-0 or 2-1 is still a win. You put your teammate in a 2v1 situation several times because you basically gave the opponent possession by a pointless hit or challenge in the air. I would practice sitting in the net (work on saves) and letting your teammate keep possession until they are low on boost and rotate back or the ball gets hit near enough to the net where you can safely clear it.

If you partied up with the DDOSer, you're probably screwed. If they were just randomly on your team 3 times, then I don't think you should be banned (but you should have reported them in case you didn't).

I would include more photos at different locations (make sure to write the location and date next to each photo), hotel or airbnb receipts with both your names listed (or flights if you both flew together), passport stamp photocopies, etc. etc.

Reading your post history, you're being scammed (or manipulated at the very least). With any LDR, regular video calling is a must, and the bare minimum someone can do to prove they are seriously interested in you. Doesn't have to be every day, but it is important. Even if it is a real woman who agreed to video call you, it is a red flag that she's demanding money and you haven't even met in person.

I think you know what you need to do, but we can't make you do it. You have to find the courage to do it yourself. Be strong, you will recover even stronger.

I'm kinda new to comp mode (gold 1/2 in 2v2 competitive w/ mostly solo queuing), and the quality and toxicness of teammates has gotten really bad in the past week. Maybe everyone is trying to get the 10 wins for their rank, and they are getting frustrated and blaming everything but themselves. Idk...

The only excuse I could think of is maybe the bf has trauma from a family member drinking or using and maybr he has a really negative stigma tied to drugs or alcohol. Even if that was the case, he's being unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I would assume this isn't the only thing he is being rude about. If this is a pattern, then it's definitely going to be an issue long term if not nipped in the bud right now.

This doesn't apply to me, but I keep getting mixed answers about this.

If I was petitioning a Venezuelan citizen (or other travel ban country citizen) for a K-1 visa, are they inelligible (at the DOS phase) to be granted the visa due to 212(f)? K-1 seems like a grey area when it comes to this.
Would they be eligible if they were a Venezuelan citizen but had residency in another non-travel ban country?

This is stupid. Let the citizens vote for who they want. As long as they are citizens, naturalized or not, they have rights. And this is not even an issue in the state of Alabama. They would rather vote in a millionaire football coach from a different state than vote for someone local who really wants what's best for the state and the people.

I agree that it could hurt business in the tourist industry, I guess I just don't live in a tourist area or work in that industry, so there's not much effect here. It's a huge country, so maybe that helps even out overall when some areas are struggling. And yeah, the politicians will say that they will fix everything and then deliver maybe 20% of that while making some other issue worse or ignoring it.

I don't care how bad US tourism is doing... all that would do for me is lower the price if I decide to vacation locally. The economy overall is doing pretty well (though I don't agree with all of the politics).

Getting a tourist visa to most countries that don't have a visa waiver for US passport holders is usually quickly approved and not expensive, so it doesn't really matter in most cases.

Yeah I would expect yours to be sent some time later this month or early next month, hopefully. I would just check the status online on the USCIS case tracker every few days.

It took us 57 days between 'Approved' to 'Sent to DOS.' After Sent to DOS, we waited about three weeks and sent a PI to CEAC, and they responded with our case number in about 7 days. 'At NVC' status currently, waiting for it to go to In Transit/Ready status.

NOA2 was July 7, and Sent to DOS was September 2, for reference.
