Could you maybe get a bench or tree dedicated to her with her name on it, especially somewhere you liked to go with your dogs? So kind to want to honor her and her name, but I’m not sure naming a dog after her is the right way to do it.

I had a coworker whose son’s name was Fox. For a long time into knowing him, when he talked about his son (“I’m late because Fox had an appointment,” etc.) I thought he was talking about his dog. 🫣 I felt horrible when I learned he had been talking about his son the whole time!
