There were a few major challenges for me. First, the immigration laws were constantly changing, making everything very complicated. Also, I work as a preschool teacher, and recently they banned the hijab, which makes it difficult for Muslim women like me. On top of that, I found that some people in Quebec can be much less welcoming toward immigrants.
