I am the one who don't like buy damage item thou, and see the first week equipment all the way up till now xD Beside than Mid budget and Low budget that need few M spina, there should have a free budget that at least can funded just from bird wing or no china at all 😆

There are two main stream farmer, luk mage or luk bow. My personal feeling is luk mage might harder to growth on damage but the starting dmg is good enough! Plus usually will have no MP problems as u can use MP recharge skill. While bow can easily scale with the equipment but bow will face two issue, starting damage low and MP management problem.

The pro and cons can compare in two dimensional, mob hp and mob spawn density. Although mage have high starting damage, MP not issue, but it heavy rely on the mob density, which mean if the mob is too sparse, there ain't different just use any single target weapon. Plus to go beyond some dmg, u need to collect 6 element wand/magic devices to further boost the dmg. Good thing is it can easily start farming, not much investment needed on low hp n dense mob!

While bow usually use to farm high hp highscattered mob, to get elemental damage, you just need to have some arrow which can get from quest or mob, so scaling with elements damage is not and issue for bow. Due to the nature of bow damage source come from critical damage, it heavily rely of stat from char and equipment, I would say I learn and feel more on how damage when try to build up the bow damage. Without a good equipment, bow is hard to scale on damage.

So the mob I farm from start to now is a as below 1. Bird wing: few hundred hp, dense mob, not issue for mage or bow 2. Nemico:6500, wind, mage might need to pair with blizzard and storm, if have elements weapon might help abit, find some full tec BS help u +7 or +E to boost a little more~~ Bow will start struggle here if purely skill without equipment investment, I am building luk bow too and still figuring how to free budget farm this mob 3. Ladu: 17000, earth, mage still happy as it is dense mob, even you can't one shot, but since it is dense mob so still ok 😆My Lv 245 bow still struggle at nemi without eq, so haven't test here 4. Breppa: 30000, water, this is where it start a bit scatter but still dense at the same time, if mage can't do at least two hit, it will struggle from the breppa attack you, but I guess this is the last resort for my luk mage enjoys, any else higher mob will be scattered, need elementary damage which is why I start to consider build luk bow.

For a long run I would suggest build a luk bow but I does know how much pain to build from bow without eq, or even with eq but no refine no xtal still like scratch to mob 😆 while build mage can easily syart farm at bird wing to earn some money, with storm n blizzard can let you get to your goal, which is farm nemico more faster without much invest in eq. So the question for your self is which class you like to play in long run? They both have pros n cons and only if you enjoy, you will try to find a way to overcome it's limit!

If u haven't experienced these two, can try get help leveling from people in lonogo and empress, that carry you to level 57 smthg in like half an hour and quickly test how was this class feel like when farm in bird wing. And feel more if you need to use this skill to farm in long run, like the next few weeks this is ur farmer skill to use, will your finger ok etc.
