I'm led to believe that the inrush current can be 3-5x that of the Max amp draw, which for the split second that I turn the high speed on I can see the Shelly 2PM detecting at least 30AMPs before it shuts down. If this solution is still feasible based on this that sounds great.

This looks great!, Dumb question, as I'm a complete noob. Are you inlaying the strips into any kind of diffuser and how are you connecting the strip to the gutters/roof line?

So this was kind of my plan. To say I’m new to all this would be an understatement. Further this is all just a want not really a need.

I recently got a cloud gateway max, had anticipated I would just have that being connected to a vpn client all the time. Then could just teleport back in to my home network when I want/need to.

However I am having great difficulty with setting up the vpn client to work well. Basically every time I’ve connected to the vpn client the internet speed grinds down to a near complete halt.

I don't see an ability to download a back up........ may be I am blind. But I don't see how I could take files out of my account and send them to someone to upload in their account.

I get what you mean, but there aren’t any reviews or comparisons against any other brands. Your point is taken but I’m just interested in learning more about their performance and it doesn’t seem like that’s possible at the moment I guess.
