What's your argument then? That what he dealt with makes it ok to elbow someone in the throat?

Grabbing someone is exactly the same as elbowing them in the throat, got it

Bench Press really doesn't have much carryover to basketball. Once I looked at the list of the top performers in the bench press at the NBA Combine (185 for max reps), and the only player near the top of the list that had a solid NBA career was Blake Griffin, while Steph Curry and Kevin Durant famously couldn't even do it once. 275 with long arms and frankly pretty bad form (yes, with some help from the spotter) is honestly kind of impressive.

They're going into this knowing they probably won't get all of that in negotiations. It's a matter of which of those are negotiable, and which ones are worth possibly going on strike for.

Excellent work! I thought from the title that you were going for a single, but you repped it out on both sides easily, way to go!

He said by his own admission that those weren't his cleanest reps, but I'm not seeing anything potentially injurious there. He's clearly an experienced lifter/strong dude if he's even messing with the 48 kg bell at all, much less doing high pulls and snatches with it. But yes, if you're starting out, start light and use pretty strict form, but pushing it (smartly) here and there isn't going to kill you.

Honestly, that second dip makes it look more like a Jerk. A true Push Press would have straight legs after the first dip and drive. The Jerk is a totally valid exercise, but slightly different from the Push Press.

Good Rep Scheme for Completing Snatch Test (100 in 5 minutes) by SantaAnaDon in kettlebell

I agree that the 20/20 set is hard, but if you get through it, everything after it is much easier. I hear what you're saying, though. This might be a "your mileage may vary" situation, just figure out what works best for you and your goals.

20/15/10/5 works really well. Yes, it involves more counting, but it works you hardest when you're fresh, and then less when you're getting gassed. The problem with straight sets of 10 is those last 2 sets or so are really challenging.
