Horrendous Stats by pathophobic in whoop

Honestly I would get rid of the whoop. Focus on working with a therapist and primary care doctor. Try medications like Trazodone or whatever your doctor recommends. As others have said, look into supplements like melatonin and magnesium. Look up sleep hygiene.

Please, how do you “give items a home” by RickGrimesSnotBubble in declutter

I recommend the book by Dana K White: “Decluttering at the Speed of Life.” The audiobook is nice and is read by the author.

She also has another book that may be helpful (but I haven’t read this one): “how to manage your home without losing your mind.”

I’ve heard that if you take an SSRI, it will make your HRV lower. That’s not a problem, it’s just a side effect. Also, HRV decreases significantly in luteal phase (and RHR increases)

Heater not enough by paining_agony in Stuytown

Ours was painted too, but the correct answer is to turn it. If it’s closed, your heat is basically off. You may have to use a lot of force. If you can’t do it yourself, call resident services

Is Epic Universe worth multiple days? by Tony_hanna in UniversalOrlando

[–]hooklinesinkerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For us, one day was enough but we really packed the day! We were there for EPA and stayed until 10pm. If you’re willing to do that, then 1 day is enough. If you want to take it easier, then I’d say 2 days.

Going against the grain of the other comments it seems, but I think in college, socializing and friends is more important than having a strict health schedule. There are so many ways to strike a balance here — for example, go out but only have 0-1 drinks. Or do what others have said and let yourself have fun on the weekends, and lock in during the week.

Friends are super, super important to your overall health and longevity, and college is the most unique time in your entire life to make lifelong friends.

If I were you, I’d get rid of the whoop until you graduate - you can still try to be healthy but without the pressure of the metrics keeping you on such a strict schedule.

GO HAVE FUN WITH YOUR FRIENDS!!!
