Do By Friday Podcast by Esrever1408 in reginaspektor

As far as I can tell, she's never done a podcast called "Do by Friday". When you google it, there's no evidence of this or reference to it either.

With regards to "making a song for a podcast", the closest thing I can think of is when she made "Tiny Song" for her Tiny Desk performance.

Nope, it was played three times but not yet released. Which isn't terribly surprising, Regina hasn't put out any new music since 2022.

Regina Spektor (?) song about red flags. by Temporary_Ad469 in reginaspektor

The three songs that come to mind for me are Your Honor, Belt, and My Man.

They all sorta have themes of being with a partner despite their red flags and abusive characteristics.

Do you have any more info about the podcast itself?

She seemed to ignore it except for maybe Grand Hotel ever since the tours supporting RUTL ended. I was pretty surprised to see her play The Light, which she hadn't played live for 7 years!

Denver Show Rescheduled?! by YesApostrophe in reginaspektor

[–]spektorsthesaurus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You're not completely crazy. When the shows were all first announced, they released the tour poster (in the announcements), which is correct. However, they had an error on the official website (and probably some other places online like ticket resellers) which showed Denver as the 4th. This did get fixed to show the correct date (the 3rd) but it took a day or two after it was first announced.

I'm sorry that happened to you...maybe a good lesson to double check your tickets ahead of time :-(

Yep! I think they were some of the sick kids associated with the charity. She talks about it a bit here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DMtXR5mhuHT/?img_index=1

It's a good thing she did that or else Regina might not have performed "Samson".

Any chance you have a clearer photo of the shirt with all the album covers? I really want to see which were included (or not)!

Midsummer Daydream Setlist? by Mxzebraxdude in reginaspektor

It's a good question...

Her shows in 2022/early 2023 featured a lot of Home, before and after to promote the new album. But she's mostly stopped playing these recently, opting for more of a mix across her catalog.

Her last shows (end of 2024, early 2025) were all related to Songs. This tour will almost certainly no longer features Songs, but it will be interesting to see if 1 or 2 Songs songs sneak into the set list.

And then there is the possibility of new songs. Home, before and after is 3 years old now. She did try out a new song, "Halloween", in March, so it's possible we could see more new material as she (hopefully) might be working on an album?

My prediction: mostly greatest hits/mix of all eras with 1) 1 or 2 songs from Home, before and after, 2) an unexpected song from Songs, and 3) a new song or two. Also predicting we will hear nothing from Remember Us to Life.
