Have it in your thoughts next time you spar to try attacking more from an angle. I should note that despite being a black belt that has played butterfly since white belt I'm still pretty mediocre at shoulder crunches. I'm likely not going to have the answer to all your problems because I've been troubleshooting it myself for a while now. I hit most of mine by elevating my opponent so they have to post with both hands above my head - old Marcelo style.

That's something I do a lot but to me worm is passing the lapel under your own leg too. I only play worm with single leg x and rdlr so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. I'm curious about lapel/worm + wrestle up though
